Would I be crazy to pick Belcher over Bisping? I feel as if this is another fight where I let my hate of Bisping influence my pick. I think Belcher would have a legit shot at beating him though.

Not crazy at all. Belcher hasn't lost to a real striker in a very long time, and he's a legit top 15 guy. Of course, he hasn't fought a guy with Bisping's high volume game. And Belcher doesn't have the one shot power of a Wandy or Belfort. But here's the main reason Belcher is a good pick: I'm picking Bisping.

As for Bisping hate, I've come around on him some. He's just Chael Sonnen with an accent for the most part, a bit less clever but essentially the same.

Not sure I totally agree with that. Bisping actually believes the shit he spews, while Sonnen knows he is simply selling fights.

Why do you think that? He called Lombard a "poison dwarf" whose mom smoked while she was pregnant. He's just hyping fights, this is from the 159 media call thing.

When he's not in fight hyping mode he comes off as pretty intelligent and humble. But as soon as there's a fight scheduled he jumps in to full WWE character mode.

Because he is fed can after can by the UFC so they can promote it in the UK. He believes the crap he spews, he believes he is a good fighter but at best he is a gatekeeper. He's a dick before fights, He's a dick after fights, not just to the fighters but to the fans and the media (Hamill post fight press conference)

Hope he gets KOd Dan Henderson stylee.

Can after can? Hendo? Rashad? Wandy? Chael? Stann? Belfort? Akiyama? Win or lose, he's fighting the best guys he can.

Again, letting the hate taint the view. Which is fine, it's what he goes for. I agree he's like a high end gatekeeper though. Top 5 gatekeeper I guess. But what do you want a guy in his position to say? He says he wants to fight for the belt, would you prefer he says "I enjoy getting near title contention and then losing repeatedly".

Yeah bisping isn't fighting cans. In fact I'd say he's getting more notable competition than he would just to make big fights in the UK. Like I don't think he really 'earned' his fight with Sonnen or Vitor. He gets some easier fights and then gets a big fight. If he ever won one of those big fights he'd get clowned by A. Silva.

There's a quote by him out there somewhere that basically boils down to getting fights because people call him out all the time.

Again, he knows what he's doing. Belcher fight came about because of this, Okami fight too. Eventual Lombard fight will too.
