They're buddies now and talking about tag team wrestling for Impact or some shit. It's King Mo...and he is a hit and miss kind of prospect. I hope he gets a fight with Rampage though.
That's a damn shame. The bars in my town town all got rid of the cover and seem to be doing well. I watch 90% of the UFC cards every year at the bar. I don't drink and neither do any of the friends I go with who all go to the same gym together. Watching MMA with a large crowd is half the fun.The continual raising of the rates on bars killed it in my town.
Want to place an avatar bet?I've heard nothing of the rates increasing myself. And being from a small town I haven't seen any difference in the size of crowds (granted there isn't a cover at any of the places I go to).
However, I really think Anderson gets beat on Saturday night. Weidman is very dangerous in almost every aspect of the game. If he loses its going to be by submission I think. But I really think he is the guy to dethrone the champ. Who has he beat, yadda, yadda, yadda. He's got the game to put this fight out early and I am more than willing to eat crow on that prediction. Let's just see how it goes from here.
Not really sure how RG3 is on that list, but If you're taking about people who don't watch MMA not knowing who he is then it's no different than most of the general public not knowing who the Klitchkos are.I think long reigns by dominating champions is good for the sport... but I think the UFC has woefully used Anderson during his 7 years of domination as the champ. Anderson gets his share of the blame as well, with his refusal to speak/learn English, but there is no reason he should not be revered with the like of Floyd Mayweather Jr, Lebron, RG3, etc. He is the greatest mixed martial artist of our generation and the general public thinks he is Morpheus from the Matrix.
Would it help promote the fight if everyone said he had no chance? Anderson Silva is operating on an entirely different level than any other fighter. Weidman may be very good, but he is going to lose. The entire card is great and I'm looking forward to seeing a Gracie back in the UFC.So, does Weidman have a chance to beat Silva? I love the hype the media puts on it, but Anderson always destroys the hype. To be honest I would love to see Silva lose, if nothing more than for a change at middleweight.
