It really should have some exciting fights, even if it is relative unknowns. Brazilians go apeshit when fighting on UFC cards in Brazil so far. And Barboza is one of them, let's see if he's improving at all or is just a one trick pony.

Was just coming to post that=) Perfect matchmaking there. Instant hype for Gegard if he wins, home win over a legit top 10 guy if Gustafsson wins.

It's funny, Silva gets no credit for the hundreds of great non-title fights he sets up, and tons of shit for the over-hyped title matches he has little hand in. Dude really does do a pretty great job juggling almost 400 fighters.

Gegard has a pretty big experience advantage, and Ive yet to see any nonwrestler dominate him so my money's going to be on him. I just love his style and how he somewhat reminds me of a baby Fedor in the cage with his demeanor. Also lol at Gegard's wikipedia entry regarding his loss to Mo Lawal: "Judging panel high on bath salts"

I agree with you about Silva, he seems pretty great at making matchups that actually appeal to the hometown crowd as well, and using those opportunities to grow the fanbase.
