LBG and HBG are actually great. I only started to like LBG because of the Kulve Taroth fight as that fight is aids on melee. Then realized that LBG or some ranged is basically required for Daora. Because Tempered Daora not only one shots you but has tons of tornados constantly which is annoying as fuck if you're melee.
THEN I snagged the Kulve Taroth Shot LBG and now I am running a shotgun close range build that is just all kinds of fun. You can do stupid damage with it because it is statwise nearly the same as an HBG spreadshot but in a LBG frame. I was using it a lot this morning to fuck up Nergigante.
I'm now starting to learn Devourer Cluster HBG like our dear a_skeleton_00 uses. Also fun!
A special fuck you to the retarded Lunastra flame burst DOT btw. It is soooooo much worse than the Teostra one and also has such insane reach.

I enjoyed Daora as SnS i just kept her grounded as sword and shield making sure to shoot her once she wasnt on top of some huge fucking hurricane, she was super weak to lightning too if I remember.
The one pure aids and i mean pure aids fight for me as sword n shield was Lavaiasoth? sp, that was just silly and im sure I overlooked some mechanic. I was constantly keeping him in the lava to keep him hittable and it still took forever.

Tempered produces like three times as many tornadoes. Playing with Mikazashi and @a_skeleton_00 There were not many opportunities to even get close to her. And the gusts and tornadoes one shot you.
Pretty sure I used hammer on Lavasioth and it wasn't an issue lol. I don't even remember that fight and only killed him a few times for like the pants or something.

I thought at HR100 where I stopped that those purple icon monsters that dropped those weapon augment slots that it was the tempered version of Kushala etc. I know I used those pants for something too, they had a really awesome look. You might be talking about a new tier I havent even seen, which is exciting.
I see Jin has armor / weapons that werent even around when I stopped playing. Like that Empress chest for example, that looks new. Looks like there is a lot of stuff I missed that was from events or quests.

I know PC version wont have Lunastra or Kulve Taroth maybe not even Deviljho on release? I hope their update schedule comes out with the game.
As of patch 3.0.1 Tempered Monsters can only be flashed 4 times and each time is half duration, then they go immune.
Kushala is a lot harder now as melee due to this.
The Behemoth event will add Gae Bolg and the Drachne Armor set.
They have shown the "powered up" Kulu Ya Ku which I am praying is going to be revealed as Arch Tempered and thus give a Gamma armor set.
Honestly I hope PC gets you guys sucked in and then the content is so low you come back to PS4.

Oh yeah, Master Bang was my #1 weapon with free element as SnS. I see Maestro who is the SnS version of @a_skeleton_00 is using a Kulve weapon now for his time kills.
Sounds like Kushala got harder, did they do the same to tempered elder Theostra? We would flash bang the living shit out of that one too.

The Kulve Taroth weapons are a big RNG fest. I got a few good ones and a lot of shitty ones and so on. After doing the Kulve Taroth hunt many many times the past two weeks.

I love me some RNG and impossible to kill monsters, the part of the game that hooked me in immediately was the fact you had no training wheels and it constantly kept upping the difficulty.
I am still crying inside that @a_skeleton_00 did fucking tempered / elder Kirin or whatever in 2 minutes. Thats just amazing, you sure you arent the same Jin that raided with me that was ZP's boy from Nurfed WoW before? I still play with another part of Nurfed's crew that work at Blizzard just like ZPs boys did if its you.

I was part of Flowers of Happiness way back in the 1990 EQ days and came over to WOW to continue spreading "joy," aka griefing other players and killing them in PvP 71 times.

Korrupt In theory I can do Tempered Kirin in 90seconds. Working on Vaal first though.
Is it just raw DPS and being ranged that makes you so fast? That just seems so insane to me as an SnS user it took me upwards of 10 minutes plus at my best to down Tempered Kirin.
I know the Asians when I stopped playing were doing all kinds of wall tricks and air shenanigans to do insane DPS. So much to learn and see still for me.
