4) SnS versus Dual Blades - Do dual blades do more damage? I liked them but didn't like constantly having to go into demon mode or it wearing off nonstop before attacking. Bow "felt" like it was way more damage but I swapped to SnS from Bow because after playing Horizon Zero Dawn it felt like I was just continuing that game play.

SNS is great. My favorite weapon right now by a mile. Having both slash and blunt, easy mounts and pretty good KO power is fantastic + the guard isn;t half bad and super mobile.

Did some longsword expedition in forest before I crashed last night. I forgot how good it is, took down pukipuki, rathian and was beating azure rathalos's ass but he had been up too long and flew away. The reach really lets you swat flyers.

We should switch to Discord for better voice activation settings, the constant background noises and everyone furiously pressing buttons is getting old real quick.

PSN has always been terrible anyway.

Ok awesome, I dont use the shield at all but it feels great mobility, damage, and the whole mount and rape thing is awesome. When I knock things down I use the charged slash too which does a ton of damage. Im glad to hear its end game good. Add me to PSN, or ill learn tonight and add you so you can carry me some =)

Hatorade Hatorade Are you hanging out in FoH's or some specific Discord? I'd prefer discord too, I cant stand listening to mouth breathing and button smashing.

Well I guess its easy for us near the PC but might suck for people with TVs in a totally separate room.

The shield block for sns is a tool that shouldn't be neglected. Is it necessary? No, if you can dodge. However, the block has saved my ass when dodging isn't the best option.

Its by far the most versatile weapon in MH, and every aspect of it has a use.

I assumed in my mind you couldn't block monsters big moves probably so I just dodged it all. Ill play around with blocking tonight and see if it feels better.

Just found out you unlock some monster by capturing small insects etc which I totally ignored as well. Time to start throwing that net out tonight too it seems.

I feed my 4k monitor into my line in slot on my computer so I can have PS4 and PC sound through the same headphones.

You can block damn near everything, although super powerful attacks will bleed through and eat a lot of your energy.

I started out with the bow, which I found insanely boring. Now I'm doing charge blade, which I find much more fun. I get beat up quite a lot more with it, though.

Its saved my ass numerous times especially during long knockdowns while low life. I'd throw up a shield knowing a hit is coming while my Sadistico heals (or doesnt, dudes an asshole) me.

Have you used any of the other Palico gadgets? The shield seems useless. I'm trying the bugtrap now though.
