There's far more talent and passion at the volunteer gang at Niche Worlds Cult the the entire team of paid developers at Darkpaw.
Thanks for the fire sloan! Game is running great even in crowded areas.
Wonder if they figured out how to batch up character draws.
Yea I had a vrchat thing I had to go to so I missed the end.
I murderized 696969696 dune beetles today and got 2 carapaces.
I checked a few times but never got lucky. I go out in daytime and fight fight fight, then when it gets dark I go back to town to sell stuff etc. That's probably a common pattern![]()
I'm still unsure of what I'm going to play when it hits early access. Spellblade sounds cool, but I want to play Shaman as well. I'm leering of Spellblade because it sounds like one of those classes that will be cool on paper, but is never balanced right.
Yeah i have that feeling as well. I played one for a bit in previous betas/tests and it's changed since it's initial design a fair chunk. The concept still attracts me quite a bit, and the proccy goodness feels real good when it goes your way- so i'd probably twink the shit out of one. But unless they do some more work on how the procs work/class design it's gonna be a rough call to main.I'm still unsure of what I'm going to play when it hits early access. Air elemental is the one with the mana regen aura? That makes a ton of otherwise mana starved classes feel so much better at low levels.Oh it's pretty good. Could use some more flavor? The shadow step is nice to quickly interrupt something. Loved playing it with an air elemental in group.
Shaman seems like a real solid choice, slows being what they are. Other than archer and spellblade being pretty barebones, most of the classes seem decently fleshed out for their design space even if it's just melee + x class spells.I'm still unsure of what I'm going to play when it hits early access.
