MUD is one of those rogue decks that can really come out of nowhere if people aren't prepared for it. I like the Doom Engines, btw.

I created this deck last week, so far it's been awesome but lately it seems to be lacking a bit with consistency. A lot of the time I shut my opponent down entirely but some tier 2 decks give me a hard time. Mainly aggro (bw tokens) and such.

Anyone have any ideas on what I could switch up atm?

It really isn't (jaded oldschool player) You can only play against Show and Tell, Delver, and whatever random combo deck so many times before that shit gets old. Granted Modern is all about the top decks at least there is more variety when it comes to archtypes.

This is the point where someone posts the latest top 8 results with all kids of different decks on them to prove me wrong or whatever. IDGAF!

I was watching SCG Legacy and they got all charged up because someone was playing Tin Fins!

Turns out its Entomb-Grislebrand with dark ritual or something. At least it had a name I had never heard of before.

Currently still not 100% if i wanna go back to mtg. if i do i am gonna splash at least $500 to start off and it's a financial decision i need to think about. i've been looking at some of the cards i've missed over a decade and it's alot to process. I don't really understand the planeswalker thing.

There are websites which will give you a solid format for printing proxy cards en masse. Proxy and entire deck and play test it for a week or two before buying it. You'll save a whole lot in the long run.

Legacy is the only format I play, it helps that I have a giant pool of cards to build from. I love making people quit and Legacy is the only format i feel I can be a total ass and get away with it. (i would play with Demonic Attorney if i could!)

You guys are making Legacy not fun, for yourself. You don't have to make asshole decks or play with people who do. Make something fun for the hell of it; no theme necessary. I feel like the "fun" concept is lost on a lot of you, regardless of format.

I watched that draft at lunch, and I did not agree with him (yeah yeah, he's a pro and I'm a noob) He had incentive to be aggro Mardu after taking Helmsmasher. Person on his right was passing Mardu. But Conley still forced 5 color.

Consuming Vapor seems like it should be something else - instant speed. And have you tried either of the delve card draws? Dig Through Time in particular. 22 Land without Serum Visions seems like it would stretch your mana base. Serum Visions would also help with mana, delve fodder, and consistency.

Vs. Tolkens? Ermm.. let me get back with you on that. (initial thought would be ratchet bomb/engineered explosives.)

Reid Duke did a Sultabzan 4 color video last week. It was pretty much exactly how I draft.

I try very hard to stay away from the 5th color.

I want to show you a trainwreck I almost salvaged the other day:

Signals were all over the place and I still almost pulled it together. If I didn't run into Sorin + Token spam round 2 this would have made it to the finals.

Thats what EDH, Draft, Kitchen Table, and League are for. Legacy is the only format I go to a store and pay cash to play. I like that's its all about the win. No one in my play group plays Legacy. They get my Ratoffering EDH deck to play against.

I'm possibly replacing Ashiok with three Liliana of the Veil's. I've considered TC but honestly with Jace I'm usually around 7 cards in hand as is. I was thinking maybe running Snapcaster though.

Oddly enough I've never had mana issues. And I do run two copies of Ratchet in my sideboard.
Do you know of any solid/cheap removal that I can replace Vapors with?

I agree with you Lasch to a degree. The signals don't matter to him because he's forcing a strategy. What happens if 2 other folks in your pod are doing the same thing though? I guess it depends on how many common lands show up in 24 packs.
