We built it on Sunday and messed around with it. It takes some practice. You start out as a heroic deck and then go off but deciding when to throw the switch and when to save resources seems a little tricky. Requires a lot more piloting than the straight combo list.

I've been playing UW control lately so bring on the combo decks.

I'm fiddling with a list that's basically Ascendancy + Robots. Ensoul artifact my 0 cost combo pieces. Run Ornithopters, Tormod's Crpyt, Ensoul Artifact, Lifes Legacy and Chasm Skulker. Same idea as the heroic list. Aggro till you combo.

I took out Dig Through Time and Taigams Schemeing. Once you have Ascendency landed with the extra 0 cost artifacts its easy to draw in to enough stuff to cast or play for free till you find combo pieces. Meanwhile you tap your mana dorks and add mana and cast more creatures etc. Getting a ensouled Ornathopter a couple +1 +1's from Asendency is scary.

I played it twice online, went "WHAT THE FUCK" and then bought the cards, main deck was about ~?25 and lands ~?100.

What's the verdict? I'm about to go to a modern tournament and I'm debating between it and my Treasure Cruise Burn deck.

In other news I've acquired my second piece of Power.

Go with the cruise burn for now. Lol, my tweaking of your deck has gon on some very curious paths. (went ubr then ubg and even esper before going back to ub to try and stay "true")

One of the first things I did was ditch the enchantment combo. So, if you were set on using that combo, let me know and I will try harder with complimenting them. Too many games thy would sit in my hand. Against aggro they were too slow. And I couldn't tap out for them vs combo or control (could ignore the first one either way)

I could win some games off the manlands and Jace abuse - the +2 feels great when holding "dead" discard. I'm on my phone at work, but I will post the version I was playing with last night when I get home.

Unfortunately I didn't make it to that tournament last night, I have a big exam coming up so I decided to study.

So originally I had Ashiok + Liliana, then I went Ashiok + Jace and now I'm running Liliana + Jace. Without Liliana I struggle to deal with the board threats I didn't counter.
I had considered running Esper, it opens a lot of possibilities like Path to Exile, Elspeth, Gideon, Sun Titan and of course Celestial Colonnade. If I'm not running the blood combo then I should probably find a different win condition than just beating people down with my 3 manlands.

So, a friend and I are going to open up an online storefront, mainly just selling magic singles for now. Going to be on tcgplayer, ebay, amazon, etc.. as well as our own site.

Looking for some ideas for a name. The criteria is that it has to evoke quality and excellence, while being a generic enough game related name that we can eventually branch into other products/open a store under that name if things go well.

Some examples to give an idea of what we're thinking:
Pinnacle Gaming
Gamer's Edge
Proving Grounds
Elevated Gaming

Either we aren't 'sold' on those, or a good domain isn't available for those names, but they are in the style we're thinking to give an idea.

Even bad ideas are good, I work best by seeing other's ideas and going from there. I'm not a raw creative person, but more of a creative polisher.
