Your assumption is wrong.I did. My assumption was that even if they don't count for the ranking they are not played as friendlies and the winner still scores psychological points. If Miami is to face Brookyln in the play-off, they will not consider them as the team they lost to three times in the season, they will consider them as the team they lost to five times.
Not in 2011! Mavs crushed the Heat in the regular season.Miami's track record is demolishing teams in the playoffs that they lost to in the regular season though.
In the last 2 years the Heat have only played 2 teams that beat them in the regular season series, and both went to 7 games. Not sure how that's "demolishing" them.Miami's track record is demolishing teams in the playoffs that they lost to in the regular season though.
These three teams beat the Heat three times in a season during the Big Three era:In the last 2 years the Heat have only played 2 teams that beat them in the regular season series, and both went to 7 games. Not sure how that's "demolishing" them.
Now if you go back 3 years then that's the year Lebron would forever be defined as the guy who couldn't beat Dirk.
Should be any day nowCan't wait until the Wolves are awesome and I can contribute to conversations like this. /cry
Losing Duncan would be a huge hit. He might not be the best Spur now, but he's the most important. The same way Miami can't do what they want to without Bosh. Splitter isn't going to fill that role and Pop said last year he'd leave when Duncan retires, so...yeah, it's gonna hurt when he retires. I want one more trip to the Finals for them since I'm going to have the playoff tickets package this year, but damn the West is loaded. Can't wait for the playoffs.Spurs on a 10 win streak 3/4 of the way through the season. Maybe playing their best basketball of the season. This seems to be their MO every year! How many years do they have left until this stops happening? Would the retirement of Big Fundamental hurt them that much?
