Seems that neither Miami or Indiana can get their act together. Indiana has had the perfect opportunity to move way ahead of the Heat for the #1 seed, and the Heat have had a great chance to catch up to them. But neither seems to be able to put together any sort of win streak.

His shooting %'s are up at every location on the floor. He as a player hasn't changed, no, but Dirk makes his pick and roll partner have a real easy time.
And? I said he hasn't changed as a player, just that he is in a better situation now. The article is about environment, he was in very poor environments the last few years. There's an image in the article that shows his efficiency being higher in every part of the court:

But it's 4% higher than last year. You're right that he's at .456 this year and for his career, but he hasn't shot above .451 for a season since the 07/08 season when he was at 53.1%. So, he's at his career average, but he hasn't been at his career average in a very long time. All of the rest of his numbers are in-line with what he's been doing the last few years. I don't watch enough of Dallas to judge whether his shot selection is good or if it is due to a Dirk effect, but his %sareup from the last few years.
