Kobe's not quite as clutch as his rep, LeBron is more clutch than his (old?) rep, and that article has just enough stats to be dangerous, but not enough information to be definitive.

If the Pacers and Heat meet in the ECF are you confident enough for a forum ban bet? I'd rather be gone than listen to you slob on Lebron's knob for the next 5-10 years.

I agree with this. The article just does a good job of squashing both the a) LeBron shies away from last minute shots and b) he doesn't make them when he does take them arguments. I don't blame anyone for holding either of those opinions. The media has shoved both of them down our throats prior to two years ago. They are just both completely wrong.

Forum ban bets are dumb.

But, I agree with Gaige. If Paul George was playing like he was the first half of the year I'd give the Pacers more of a chance. And credit where credit is due, Indiana is still an incredibly deep team and it's why they are where they are. Still just don't have the star power to contend with Miami's big three and if you disagree with that I just think you don't understand how good LeBron is.

I understand how good Lebron is. It's the rest of the heat that don't scare me. Lebron got his the other night and the Heat still lost. Last year the Pacers starting 5 outscored the Heats, it was the bench that blew those games. The bench has been upgraded while Wade is a year older and playing on bad knees. All of this has been talked about, there's nothing left to do but wait for the playoffs.

The Pacers got a gift. Wade didn't play the final minute, a six point swing due to no calls, no Ray Allen, etc. What happened the last two years in the playoffs? Heat won titles, Pacers got sent home.

TBH last year the Pacers struggled just to make the ECF.

Teams that areonlydeep butwithoutstar power (and I'm not talking about names here I mean actually super elite level play) don't win championships though. You're the Bulls of 4 years ago with that current Pacers roster. You go 10 deep in very above average players but don't have a single one putting up actual elite numbers. Paul George was there the first half of this year. He isn't anymore.

I don't want to call this impossible, but it just isn't likely given the track record of the entire history of the league.

Roy Hibbert dominates the Heat. It's difficult to put up "elite" numbers with an unselfish roster.
See this is the homer shit I was talking about earlier. 17 and 3.5 taking 4 free throws in their 3 meetings this year. DOMINATION. I know you're response to this though. You're going to point to the playoff series last year that they lost. Sound logic. Can you even comprehend how shitty of a scorer and rebounder Hibbert is?

At least admit you understand where I'm coming from. I get it. You're a Pacers fan you want them to win you maybe even think they will, but you understand there's also a scenario that isn't all that outside the realm of possibility that they won't, right? Like, please tell me you do.

Hibbert can get his. Did last year all series. Where is his championship ring? Oh shit, he doesn't have one. Also dominate is lol worthy, the dude isn't averaging 30 and 20.

PG is back to Earth like I said he would be in this very thread at the beginning of this season. Only LeBron and KD put up those kind of numbers for entire seasons/playoffs. Not PG.

BTW LeBron has put up elite numbers for four years with one of the most unselfish rosters in the NBA. Just saying~

Learn to read. Since you don't understand how periods end thoughts I spaced it out for you so you can comprehend it easier. You can thank me later.

Hibbert did have a really good series against Miami last year but I just have a hard time focusing on 7 out of 400+ games to make some sort of blanket determination for a player. This shitty player had 7 really good games against one team. Ok? And that's why your team is going to for sure without question win a series this year? Pretty flawed if you try at all to be logical about it.

Well no shit, that's why they actually play the games. You and MippoJr act like because the Heat won the prior two years, it automatically means they will win. I guess I shouldn't refer to Gaige as MippoJr since Mippo was an actual Heat fan. Gaige just picks whichever player is the best regardless of the team. He's more of a cheerleader than a fan.
