Look, I hate Gaige's nuthugging as much as the next poster, but let's be honest. Who in the East stands any chance against the Heat? The Pacers did a couple months ago, but unless they somehow completely turn themselves around they are looking at an early exit.

Fixed. East is just horrible. Since the Pacers are getting ousted, the Heat will not face one team that would have made the playoffs in the West until they actually face the west in the finals.

The fact it's single elimination actually hurts its surprising/shocking element. It's a lot easier to get hot/lucky for one game, but a lot different to do it for four.

Dude is obviously a piece of shit; but does the commish have the power to do all these things? I mean, he is the legitimate owner of the team and Mark Cuban said yesterday that he didn't think that there was any clear violation that could be pinned on him. This makes me think it is going to end up in court because I don't see any clear way that a team owner could be unilaterally barred from the business he owns nor be forced to sell it if he does not want to.
