I had no idea LBJ was shooting as terrible from three as he has this year.

EDIT: I just saw that out of Curry's 51 points last night, only one came from a FT. He had one FTA last night. Wut.

Funny, last season people got flak for suggesting Curry was the clear MVP over Harden. Now, people are getting flak for not agree he's the greatest player of all time! From second best player in the league to GOAT in one season. Not bad, Curry, not bad at all.

Who is going to foul Curry at 40 feet from the basket.
The NBA needs to allow the use of sand in the eyes, body slams, ninja stars, and goaltending to shut down Curry.

He's pioneering a new form of basketball. All the kids watching now are going to be practicing their 3-point shot instead of 'handles'. He's the beginning of a new era. An era where teams utilize the 3-point shot for efficiency and points-per-possession, instead of traditionally going for 2. The NBA is going to have to change the 3-point line in some way if they don't want a league dominated by shooters.

Ya and Curry will chuck up shots knowing he's going to get fouled and will get 4 point plays instead.

Is Durant still playing basketball? I browse the thread from time to time and never see him mentioned in these best shooters / MVP talks.

I think his injuries and the emergence of Westbrook really took some of the wind out of his sails in regards to MVP status. He's still one of my favorite players, but as long as he's on a team with a guy that dominates the ball as much as Westbrook, I think he's fallen back a tier in terms of those type of discussions. All it would take is a string of 40 or 50 point games to get him back on the national radar, though.

Plus he's pretty unselfish, that's why I think he would be fine in GS. He's the type that would work to fit in anywhere.

This again?

Westbrook is a great player in his own right and has only helped Durant's career. OKC can win without Durant, but if you've EVER seen Durant play without Westbrook you'd know the inverse isn't true.

Like 2 years ago when Westbrook only played 46 games, the Thunder finished 59-23, and Durant won the MVP? No, I didn't watch that season at all. Or last year when Durant played only 27 games and the Thunder didn't even make the playoffs.

When Ambiturner is telling you that you're trying too hard, that's saying something.
