Playoffs. Nobody gets fouled in the playoffs.
Lol. Unless you're Durant, or Westbrook, or Harden, or Lillard, and anytime you approach the basket the whistle blows for you regardless of what happens. These guys still get star calls in the playoffs, and the point is that Curry never gets them.

Curry's game is based around much more shooting than it is driving to the lane, obviously. There are less instances in a game where he's getting fouled than any of those other players listed. Still, even with that, he managed 5.5 FTA in the playoffs last year, which is more than he attempted in any regular season.

I know you're a Warriors fan and normally a pretty logical one, but don't go all Convo homer on us here. Curry doesn't get to the line as much because there simply aren't as many plays where he's shooting that have the potential for fouls to be called as there are for any of those other players. Especially Westbrook and Harden who base so much of their game around penetration.

Your boy KAT may be ROY but Jah has that dudes number! I'm expecting improved D next season from him and you'll have to scale back on the homer comment:)

Yes this two game sample size makes me prefer Okafor's long term potential as well.

Mutombo made a tweet congratulating us on getting the #1 overall pick in the draft then took the tweet down a few minutes later.. I know he's involved with the NBA still. I wonder if he's in the know?

No idea why link isn't working. Apologies but that's the story. Be funny if he really did know.

Probably in the know and his senility (80 years old at this point?) made him forget he isn't supposed to say anything, but there is also the 50% chance he thinks they are about to draft Iverson.

Yes!!!! I'm stoked. Irony is, the guy in draft who'd play well with Simmons is Ingram. They'd really compliment eachother well. Ben can pass and Ingram is great at the catch and shoot.

Yea, hopefully the lakers have a top 5 pick next year. Plus we have swap rights with the kings and they'll prob stink. We are in good shape.

But put me down for Dunn being a stud in the league.

Solid backup maybe. That's my prediction.

Simmons is a big prize, do the Sixers look at Ingram at all? He's a much better fit. Your team is still a mess with Okafor/Noel/Embiid/Saric/Simmons. Simmons probably can develop into a 3 but he enters the league better suited to play as a 4 for sure.

Nah. They go Simmons. Our HC coached his dad and has known him since he was a baby. Plus he's a point forward and we need someone to help move the ball. But our overall game is gonna suffer until we have a few real options to shoot it. If we have someone like that passing underneath to Joel or Jah or kicking it out to a legit shooter or him just driving it, that really makes us a tough team to defend. I know, I'm getting ahead of myself!

Really hope wade Baldwin falls to us now. He would be a really good fit.

Who you hoping the wolves grab?

I just posted this to a friend. My Wolves thought:

Staying put is rough. Better than moving down, but the neither the Suns nor the Celtics will take Dunn, who would have been really nice to see off the board before we pick.. I think Celtics have to take Bender which is too bad. The Suns don't need guards with Bledsoe/Booker/Knight so I'm crossing my fingers that Murray falls to us, but I also think he's the obvious BPA there so who knows. I really hate the idea of us choosing between Buddy/Ellenson/Dunn. I like Poeltl and Baldwin but either of them at 5 would be called a reach. Bender and Murray the best options for us outside of the obvious top 2.

Makes sense. I think you guys end up with Murray, who would be a pretty good fit and man, you'll have a killer nucleus of players.

That's the hope. I'm really happy with either Bender or Murray. Although I don't see Bender slipping past either of those teams in front of us so I should just forget about that now. Murray is my hope. I could sell myself on Buddy if I have to, simply because the team needs shooting and he'll bring that skill. We also need a backup PG so Dunn could be that guy. I want Murray and I'm probably pretty disappointed if we end up with someone else outside of Poeltl but again he's a reach at 5.
