Yeah, the lengthy road trip will likely bring the first loss.

Or the Dubs are going 82-0! WOOOO!

Okafor really impressing. Towns in foul trouble doesnt help. He's the only thing we have resembling a rim protector.

you can tell he wants to send a message to towns. I'm looking forward to watching those 2 go at it for years to come.

Good games. Wiggins has improved a TON year 1 to year 2. Really amazing for a 20 year old.

We'll keep Towns for 7 years or so. If we don't get to the playoffs in that span with him and Wiggins I wish them both luck on better franchises.

I think Sixers, Twolves and Magic will be some of the best teams in the east in 3-5 years.

Too bad the TWolves are in the West. :/ I like Orlando's players individually, but I see a bunch of #2 and #3 guys...nobody that could be "The Man" some day. Obviously can't foresee what sorts of trades and picks they'll get, but they could maybe be a Hawks-like team that's very good and in the playoffs every year, but never breaks through. The Sixers will be boom or bust. Either all this tanking and stockpiling is going to work out exactly like planned, or they'll get unlucky with injuries, lose the players to Free Agency before the team gets good, and be starting from scratch in 3-5 years.

I definitely like that Towns/Wiggins/Rubio combination, though. I'm rooting for them, but secretly hoping they suck and Wiggins comes to Toronto.

Doh. Yea. Brain fart. I don't know why I assumed they were in the east. I always mix them and the Bucks up too. Drives my brother insane. We both wanted Wiggens and he wanted Towns too so they are his second team, thus the reason I'm going to see them in Jan.

Sixers basically need the stars to align in the next draft. We need to get all the possible picks owed to us this time. a draft like this would be ideal for us.2016 Mock Draft | NBADraft.net

Our summer league would be those draft picks, Embiid, and Saric. Lots of potential talent.

My hopes for a high pick are being dashed by Porzingis. Raptors get whichever pick is worse between Denver and New York, so I needed both of them to be in the bottom 5 of the league.

Still early but a lot of people were wrong about Porzingis. I know I wanted the sixers to pass. Some of these rookies look really good this year. The bigs especially.

The Lakers are the worst team I've seen this year. Holy shit they are terrible.

And it's 16-0.

When MJ was getting up there, he could still play. Kobe looks like the damn giant retard from thunderdome on the court. I get a feeling he forgets what he's supposed to do next half the time. Man its hilarious to watch.

His Wizards years he shot 41.6% and 44.5%. After this 1-14 performance, Kobe is at 33%. That is pretty horrendous.

No idea what's up with Kobe outside the obvious age thing. He's getting open looks but just can't hit a thing. Really sad to watch

Jordan didn't pop his Achilles late into his 30's, had the year and a half intermission to rest his body mid 90's, and generally had a lot less NBA wear on his body at any given age than Kobe did. Kobe had like 5000 more minutes played than did Jordan even before he popped his Achilles. Jordan was older when he came back to the Wizards, but we never saw him play with his body in a similar state. Kobe doesn't seem to get any easy baskets anymore, at all? 37, but an old 37 considering he started playing nba ball at age 17 and the injury issues he's had the last few years. He should hang it up, but who in their right mind is going to give up that last 20 million?

That Achilles injury ruined Kobe, he hasn't even been close to the same player since, but I'm convinced a large amount of the blame goes to the front office and coaching of the Lakers. It's a fucking mess. NO ONE on the Lakers gets easy shots. (or for that matter hiring MDA over Phil fucking Jackson and then having D'Antoni play Kobe 45 minutes a game until he died)

A good coach would be getting Kobe easy shots and making him buy in to taking them. The Lakers spend all camp trying to run the fucking princeton while every other good team is knee deep in analytics and running a modern NBA offense. The best I've seen Kobe play since the injury is when he starts playing the point and distributing the ball. He's actually quite adept at it, but you know they went out and drafted a guy they want to jam into that position even though he was mainly a SG in college.

The beauty of the princeton though is it doesn't even rely on a PG. Russell dribbles the ball up the court to pass it off to Hibbert standing near the top of the key so he gets to make the next decision where the ball goes, then he never gets the ball back because everyone on the Lakers thinks taking a contested 3 pointer is what analytics says to do. Kobe isn't even that bad from inside the 3 point line but for some reason he's got it in his head that's he's Steph Curry and still 30 years old so he should chuck up 8 3 pointers a game at a 20% clip. It's a fucking beautiful thing. /s

Lately they've started running some Triangle I've noticed and actually looked a bit better doing it. Big shock that a player that's run a system successfully for the majority of his career would be more at home running that offense. But the Lakers keep trying to jam square pegs into round holes. I'm convinced they're tanking but if the pick falls outside the top 3 it goes to the 76ers. Even if they magically out tank the 6ers its like a 64% chance at #1 of staying in the top 3.

At this point there isn't a non embarrassing thing about the entire franchise. RIP Jerry Buss.
