Great points but in the finals you cant give up games. Simply shrugging off a home loss because your best player didnt shoot well is cool in the divisional round or something, but not with all the chips on the table. The Warriors could easily be down 2-0, and now they travel to Cleveland WITHOUT momentum. Think about it, going into this series the Cavs realistically figured they could take a game in California. They ended up taking the most recent one, which gives them momentum going home, so mission accomplished. The Cavs could be up 2-0 but let's get serious. This is still GSW's series to lose and I dont see them losing. Curry played his worst game of the year and they still almost won. The Cavs had a ton go right for them and still let the Warriors come back really quickly at the end of the game. The Warriors have tons of talent and the Cavs have 7-8 guys and most of them are JAGs. I think LBJ has been phenomenal but he's got no support at all.
Maybe next year if they can keep the core healthy and Love stays. The current rules of the NBA really helps teams like GS. The weak East helps the Cavs every year. So, we will probably see this finals 3 of the next 5 easily. If Grant Hill...I mean Irving can stay healthy, LBJ should see 2 more rings.
And you shouldn't be. The series is tied and GS is the better team. The Grizz made the Warriors look way worse in their losses. And they're a way better team than the Cavs. I'm not worried.
You could say it's just the Cavs fans that are homer. Look at Vegas. Dub are even favored tonight. Seriously, if the Cavs win this thing, it would be consideredone of the greatest upsets in NBA Finals history. And that article was even written before Kyrie went down. The talent disparity between the two teams is just absurd. It would be an awful choke job for the Dubs to lose.Neither side is worried because everyone is a homer.
Oh shit. Really? That's cool. I always hated that format. The Finals aren't 2-3-2 anymore. It's definitely coming back to CA, just a question of whether it's 2-2 or 3-1.
Is your head going to explode if Lebron single handedly defeats Golden State and wins a championship for the Cavs?I'm having trouble following the narrative. Does Lebron make his entire team better which is why Dellavedova turned into Gary Peyton and JR Smith > Klay Thompson, or is he single handedly carrying an awful team to glory?
They are playing some outstanding defense, winning the loose balls/hustle plays, and seem to have figured out how to limit the Warriors back court while playing with a ton of confidence (which is astounding considering all they have lost). On top of that, they have a guy who nobody can stop. I would be worried if I am a GS fan at moment because these Cavs have come to play ball in this series.Cavs in 5!
Seriously though, they are looking quite a bit better than GS right now.
