I didn't say he was going either.
My posts were making fun of you dumbasses saying there was no way he was leaving because he said he wanted to stay.
So...staying or going? Why does it take you so many post to state a clear opinion? It's just the Internet, it's ok to be wrong.

Right on, I look forward to seeing Curry doinganythingother than living or dying by the jump shot these finals.
He's a pretty good passer...

And he mostly lives by that jump shot. Why be a slasher when you can light people up from all over the court with your jumper?

Because then all they have to do is smother him on defense and have delly play him tight, theres no risk of him trying to drive past delly because that isnt his game. Expect that to continue the rest of the Finals.

Except when he drove at the end of the game to tie it?? Or do we not count that one?

I'd take his style than a slasher. All that does is get guys hurt. He's playing in a system that asks him to take a lot of shots. When he gets going(which is most of the time) he opens so much up. You're being too much of a homer here.

The Cavs defense was fantastic, but lets be honest here: those are shots Curry makes on most nights. He had an off night, it happens. If he stays cold it could be trouble for Golden State.

Great series so far, crazy that this Cavs team could easily be 2-0 going home.

All I've said is that hes a guy who lives and dies on the jump shot. I'm not even sure what we are debating

That he's overrated and brings nothing else to the table...that's what I thought anyway? You're certainly implying that curry is a 1 trick pony. I think he's just playing to his strengths within a system. He's going to adjust and hit shots on Delly.

He wont get any hate because honestly hes not a versatile premier player like Harden, Durant, James etc. He cant drive it in and draw fouls against defenders, back people up in the paint and score, create inside shots. If his shot isnt hitting then hes just a liability on offense because hes gonna keep trying to make jump shots. Thats Steph curry, IMO hes way overhyped but I'm biased because I dont like him much.
Thankfully someone that shoots 49% from the field and 44% behind the arc taking 9 of them a game doesn't have too many games where his shot isn't falling.

Now people in this thread are acting like Steph Curry is Steve Kerr. Jesus fucking christ. Some people are hopeless.

The Cavs could be up 2-0 but let's get serious. This is still GSW's series to lose and I dont see them losing. Curry played his worst game of the year and they still almost won. The Cavs had a ton go right for them and still let the Warriors come back really quickly at the end of the game. The Warriors have tons of talent and the Cavs have 7-8 guys and most of them are JAGs. I think LBJ has been phenomenal but he's got no support at all.

Maybe next year if they can keep the core healthy and Love stays. The current rules of the NBA really helps teams like GS. The weak East helps the Cavs every year. So, we will probably see this finals 3 of the next 5 easily. If Grant Hill...I mean Irving can stay healthy, LBJ should see 2 more rings.

You think we will see this match up 3 of the next 5 years? That is highly unlikely. Golden State is a great team but they had a ton go right for them this year. The injuries to the Thunder, Clippers collapsing, and the Spurs going out in round 1 were all huge, just to name a few.

GSW got to face a injured backcourt in every round. Might end up hurting them in the Finals though, since Delladova is like 100x the defensive player Kyrie is - Curry has been hot garbage when defended by him so far.

Of course the Cavs offense is basically LeBron or nothing but if he keeps scoring 40+ every game while they hold GSW under 100 who cares.

I could see it happening. The Dubs will go into the luxury this year but after that, they have plenty of ways to work the salary cap. They did get lucky on the injury front this year for sure, but the Thunder only have next year to do anything if they can't keep KD. The Spurs are finally actually showing their age. The Clippers just won't get it done with the lack of a bench and Doc Rivers seemingly reaching the height of his coaching potential.

Dellavedova won't do that to Curry again. Last night was the most ridiculous outlier of the season on all fronts for the Dubs. That may have been the worst I've seen them play. Just awful. Nearly 100 less passes than their average. This has been somewhat similar to the Grizz series. I'm very confident Kerr will make a money adjustment and make most of the remaining games look much easier.

The Delly Shumpert swarming defense is vicious. Back in Feb the Cavs held Curry to 18 points 6 assists and he had 4 turnovers. Last night he had 19 points 5 assists and 6 turnovers. Cavs have to be feeling good about that win, and now they're heading home. This could get interesting.

That the same Lebron who went 11/35 and got swatted on like his last 3 drives?
Who else do they have that's a real threat? It's not like LBJ is just sitting back letting the other elite guys on the team carry his ass or anything. Probably pretty easy to key on...of course Kerr will have answers this next game. Cavs may be favored but I doubt they win game 3.

I wouldn't try to employ common sense here.
