What is with the power companies in texas and okieland? When I lived in san jose it was national news that we were having brownouts (and actually I never lost power during all that). Here in oklahoma the power is out at least once a week, sometimes for hours. It was out a full day at some point last year and before I got here they had an entire week without power during some kind of winter problem.
I wonder if people that live in cities have any idea how goddamn third world it is in the flyover states.

I don't know what's up with power in Texas either. Never had many issues here in DFW, then I moved maybe two miles away and today we've already had a surge (outtages etc are common). Used to live in Lubbock, was too young then but everyone echoes the awfulness of utilities there as well.
On an EQ note, anyone have a list of focus effect items that will be in play in Kunark? Trying to maximize my pp-to-krono investment before hitting Kunark.

I rarely hear what causes the power problems but it usually has to do with the lines being up on poles. I don't understand why they don't put them underground? Isn't that what they do in civilized lands?

That's messed up and lol at Tulkas saying faceless isn't the top guild because he 18 botted/MQed his way to inny/ct kills.
It does bother me about Yawg being on their mumble. Not sure what that's all about.

Getting some awfully varied info in game (which should be expected I guess). Regarding a future monk alt A) Do Iksar's still get the double regen rate that humans were getting? B) Someone mentioned that humans have 1 less delay? What's that all about, and if both are true what would be the better option for min/max purpose lol. Appreciate it.

iksar is dope. do it. humans get 1 delay off of their bare hands, which don't include fist weapons and therefore are totally outclassed by the iksar's superior regen, armor class bonus, forage (bind it to a movement key), stone of morid ranged item etc

Perfect, I'll make an Iksar then once Kunark hits, one more question though. Seeing some variance also in BiS lists, am I better off with an Executioner's Hood (5ac 4str 9dex) or a Crown (12ac & resists), and same thing with the 7ac bracers or Serp bracers (1ac 3dex 9agi? Essentially should I be aiming for ac or the other attributes?

If you're looking at raiding you'll never really be tanking so ac won't matter much outside of mitigating a few hits here and there during pulls. Your top stats should be Dex/Str/Resists - Use the exe hood unless it's a dragon fight. Dragon Bone Bracelets are a solid wrist slot but otherwise look at serp/shiverback, I'd say go granite bracers but iksar can't wear them.

I was dual boxing for a while but its incredibly slow unless it's like dual mages or something. I put them to pasture basically and am leveling a wizard. It's been alot more enjoyable as I have been grouping the whole time.

cancelled my subs still Kunark. just a few days left on my paladin, but i've got like 27 days left on my druid account.
the classic grind is just awful. even on Lockjaw there isn't nearly enough content for the amount of players. wouldn't have been so bad if I had been in on the initial rush to 50, but life happened and i couldn't get started til a couple weeks in.
oh well, i'll be back for Kunark for sure. Kunark doubles the available content, but it quadruples my enjoyment. i'll be jumping back and forth between P99 and Legacy of Froststone until then.
re: Faceless, i'm just in on a FnF basis right now. understandable if i get my guild tags deleted, but i do guarantee i'll be back for Kunark.
