That screen shot is depressing. If that is legit, it just ruins the entire game. The fun of a game is to be on a pretty even ground with everyone else playing. Play time with some skill/knowledge/luck should be the largest factors involved with how a player is able to accrue valued items in the game. Once dupes come out that cannot be removed, it just makes the Multi-player aspect of it pointless. Its akin to playing Diablo 2 and using dupe cheats. That is fine for a single player game but has the exact opposite effect in a multiplayer game.

I liked the game but it just gets to a point where I have to let it go.

Pretty wild you'd spend a few hundred hours getting all of that non-exploit gear only to knowingly get yourself banned. (voidbent)

I mean, that's every MMO. The whole fun part of MMOs is that they're not finished.

But yeah, this game was clearly 43% baked at best.

It may be half baked at best, but the first time you get hit with a Buffalo and die in an invasion is memorable as fuck. :trump:

Last time there was a dupe (with transfers) people were saying someone should just hang out in Everfall sending max coin to anyone who runs by. Is there no confirmation for sending gold?

I got randomly sent 600ish gold the other day. Don't know why, but a thing popped up saying soandso sent you xxx coins.

I watched the video. Infinite is exaggerated. All it does is allow you to keep your resource for a mission. You still have to pay to place it on an auction house. If you put it up cheaply to save cost, you risk somebody buying it. The mission is not actually repeatable. Looking at the title I thought the mission would then repop and that bug caused the loop. It is a bug but it is not THAT bad.

I was getting excited as I was getting ready to max a town faction to 300. Oh well.

What a fucking disappointment.

I can’t even craft anymore. Every time I interact with a crafting station my character spins away from the station thus failing any attempt to craft.

Oh and gathering has a similar issue of randomly being interrupted by some unseen force.

What a shame. This game had some good meat on it’s bones…too bad they’ll let it rot.

Yeah, feels like this game is donezo. I don't think there's any salvaging it at this point.

It's strange because I figured I'd quit after a month due to getting bored. But instead it's because they fucked it up.

Most of us alpha testers said basically, "Yeah, you could launch but you probably shouldn't." I don't think we expected the shitstorm of bugs that is occurring and rather the slower pace of endgame content and the regular MMOer asking "WHERE IS RAID", but yeah. They should've put it back in the oven. They probably need to shut it down and restart a la FF, but I don't think that's possible in today's age. Their only other hope is just paying for a billion teams to fix everything nonstop and then do a soft re-launch in a month or two to bring back people.

Sucks because this game was pretty fun and had some cool features games haven't had for a while (rare drop camping outside of instances, sieging) and the action combat was decent at worst.

All forms of player trading, including the Trade House, are currently disabled. I have never seen a Live Game in this state, and getting worse with each patch.

I'm just here to play Virtual Lumberjack Simulator and get to 60. This is still extremely early days, and it's still not as bad as EQ's launch was. If it sucks at 60 after I get geared up I will just stop playing for a while. This isn't a game that requires you to stick around after all. No sub, so just come back in a few months/years to see how things are going.

I was going to say they should merge server and make fresh once all the bugs were fixed, but who knows when that will even happen.

Basically stuff is screwed until new tiers are released and they can make the old ones obsolete. But all this gold could be a problem at some point. They say they can find it all, but really can they? And what is the cutoff for what action they are taking?

Pretty much this. My feedback to the team on this game was nearly always, it will likely have a solid launch but it has no legs and the term i specifically used was schizophrenic design that didn't truly commit to its strongest game loop pillars. There was potential here, but it the guys in charge had some fairly large egos and had not shipped a modern successful live service game or MMO and were a little of touch.

The other problem is, say they do remove all the gold. So you penalize the players that put legitimate items up in the AH? Do you remove their gold as well with no return of the item sold? Its a clusterfuck that was allowed to remain for far to long. What is worse is knowing that they only think they have an understanding of all the possible ways to dupe. I wholeheartedly believe that there are methods that have not been shown. Methods that they have no clue exist.
