Much as it pains me to be on the same side of an issue as Araysar, the fact of the matter is that all we know about their relationship is from a 3 minute video. It looked bad for sure, and it was bad, but that doesn't make him a wife beater or her a sufferer of "battered woman syndrome". Maybe he is a bad guy and she is a battered woman, or maybe he's never laid a hand on a woman before or since and he made one big mistake while he was drunk. From that video it's not even impossible that he just slapped/shoved her and she really did get knocked out by hitting her head on the railing. If it really was a one time thing and he is genuinely sorry for it and will never do it again then both their lives are being destroyed in the name of "justice" that she doesn't even want.

If Goodell and the NFL and the Ravens had handled this correctly this first time this came out, we probably wouldn't be having this conversation right now.

Instead, we've got another knee-jerk from Roger and the Ravens.

I'm not defending Rice by any stretch. He's full grown man who took a grown man swing at a woman and he's got to take responsibility for it.

How do you know it isn't? All you have is one instance that you base your entire opinion on. He has never been arrested or questioned in regards to domestic violence ever in his life, as far as I know. I don't discount the possibility that he might be one - but the burden of proof is on you, not on him.

There is no trolling, we are all equal in the eyes of the law. On video we clearly see an individual that attacks a larger individual several times before the larger individual retaliates But instead of punishing the instigator, we go after the victim and ruin his life because there is a stigma attached to a man hitting a woman.

You can't have it both ways. Either you establish separate laws for men and women in these types of situations and then the women is punished accordingly for instigating and a man is punished accordingly for using physical force, or you treat them equally as one person assaulting another regardless of gender or size.

This, plus if he is willing to cold cock her in a public location when she is nagging him, I would tend to think what he does privately is likely worse to some degree. The fact that he was more concerned about losing her pricey shoes than safely getting her off of the elevator pretty much typifies how he this looks to a lot of people. No one beats their woman just one time, especially a guy who acts like he is waiting in line in the grocery store after doing it.

This. If it was a heat of the moment, "oh God,what have I done" type of situation he would immediately panic and check on her. The way he knocks her out and does nothing says he did exactly what he meant to do and its probably not his first time doing it.

To a slightly less serious topic, looks like I was probably correct in that Rob is just a shitty server. Even worse is the owner basically saying McCoy is a dick. That seems like the correct PR move.

PYT: LeSean McCoy Left a 20 Cent Tip | NBC 10 Philadelphia

The owner of a popular local restaurant is accusing LeSean McCoy of being "shady" with his gratuity. According to PYT owner Tommy Up, the star Eagles running back left a 20 cent tip during a visit to the popular burger joint.

Up says the ordeal began when McCoy and his friends arrived at the restaurant Monday afternoon.

"He was there with his friends at the bar," Up said. "We thought we were all cool. It was lunch time, we knew who they were and we gave him our A-game."

After the group left, Up said the waiter who served McCoy came up to him with a confused look on his face.

"He said, 'I just got left 20 cents,'" Up said. "I was like, 'why?' He was like, 'I have no idea! I thought we were cool!'"

Up took a look at the receipt and posted a photo of it on his Facebook page. The photo shows a $.20 tip on a $61.56 bill.

"I just thought it was pretty callous and insensitive," Up said. "Twenty cents isn't an industry standard."

Rob Knelly, the waiter in question, told NBC10 that things were a bit tense between him and McCoy from the start.

"We asked if we could start them off for drinks but we didn't really hear any response," Knelly said. "So I got them to fill waters."

Knelly admits he made a mistake and missed their appetizer while serving them.

"That was my fault," Knelly said. "We were pretty busy at that point."

Knelly claims McCoy and his friends were unsure of what they wanted when he asked them for their orders.

"They had been at the table for ten minutes," Knelly said. "They were very indecisive about what they wanted. So I finally got their order and got everything they wanted. When he ordered he was like, 'yeah, I asked for that s***. In a restaurant you don't talk to a server like that."

After Knelly got their order, he claims they acted rude towards him.

"I got their food and they were saying, 'I can't eat this, how do you expect me to eat this? I need a bun now. I don't eat mayonnaise.'"

After telling the bartender to give them drinks, Knelly says they continued to call for him.

"They didn't know my name," Knelly said. "They just said, 'you're my server right?They were being rude so after I gave them their food I didn't go back to them until they were done. I just avoided their rudeness."

Up has received a mixed response since posting the receipt on his Facebook page. While some sympathized with the waiter, others said that posting a photo of the tip was unprofessional on the part of PYT and questioned how good the service actually was, claiming that bad service deserves a low tip, if any at all.

NBC10 reached out to representatives with the Eagles and LeSean McCoy for comment. We have not yet heard back from them. Les Bowen, a sports reporter for the Philadelphia Daily News, claimed he spoke with McCoy about the tip.
