If the Cards end up needing an RB, they just signed Chris Rainey to their practice squad last week. Rainey was
cut by the Steelers last year after being arrested for domestic violence.(The charge was later dropped.)

Not really, this shit goes on ALL THE TIME. It's only a matter of importance now because of the Rice video. You'll just hear about every second stringer or nobody for a shitty team beating their spouse because it's the hot button.

This is pretty fucked up if you think about it. Goodell should probably take some of the Steelers' draft picks to punish them for letting Rainey off too easy.

The arrests stem from two incidents involving a 27-year-old female and an 18-month-old child at Dwyer's home in southeast Phoenix at July 21 at 8 a.m. and July 22 at 4 p.m., according to the Phoenix Police Department. Dwyer, 25, was booked into Maricopa County Jail on Wednesday on one count of aggravated assault causing a fracture, one count of aggravated assault involving a minor, two counts of criminal damage, one count of preventing the use of a phone in an emergency, and assault.

It's not all bad. I mean, Jason Witten is a boss and won the Walter Peyton Man of the Year award a few years ago. There's good role models even within their own teams to look up to.

The NFL is a community of people and every community has a percentage of shitbags. Shit, the Navy was the same way. I knew a guy who got busted in a random piss test for smoking weed, then got kicked out for having his dad visit and bring him some while he was confined to the ship. There's no shortage of shitbags in the world, but these shitbags just end up being ultra-shitbags because of the money they make.

Most companies aren't made up of a large percentage of millionaire dudes in their 20s, many of whom came from a rough background. That type of folks just don't typically wind up in the public eye unless they happen to be athletic freaks of nature. Add in the fact that they are paid to be violent for a living and this shouldn't shock anyone.
