Have to admit, TB is good. Never seen him play in college, but this dude doesn't seem to get too worried about his fuckups. Plus he is making every single throw an NFL quarterback should make. Vikings have a nice little QB there. PLUS they now have a great trade chip if Matt Cassel keeps doing what he is doing.
Cassel is 32 and on a deal that runs only through next year. Teddy B isn't getting traded.

Bridgewater sitting for even two years isn't a big deal. I think our offense will be competent just like it was last year either way, and while Zimmer's scheme changes will make the defense better than than last year, we were still so historically bad on that side of the ball that it's still going to take a couple years of personnel upgrades before this team can really be competitive. Let Teddy sit and learn or get him out there with game experience. I don't really care. We're not making the playoffs either way.

Bridgwaters highlight reel during college is something no other QB at the time can compare to. I don't think he was the absolute #1 QB in college (may be the #1 NFL-ready, but others had a very high ceiling), but the plays and throws he made were things of beauty. His end-zone corner passes to DeVante Parker where incredible. Parker will be the next 'Megatron' as he is a freakish athlete (even NFL.com said so, he's #1 on their freakish athlete chart; 4.39 40-yard, 36.5 vertical, 10ft 10inch broach jump, 455 squat and 335 bench, 80 inch wingspan). If somehow the Vikings can snab Parker next year, that dynamic duo will be unstoppable.

Video below... Favorite play/throw by far is at the 5:10 mark.

Was interesting during the game last night, he was getting rushed every play. But man, that spiral he throws can spin the god damn earth. His ball during college was pretty, but it is a new level now. Love how ESPn and whatnot is downplaying his performance. Saying that he wouldn't have the stats if that butched fumble wasn't called the way it was. Or how he was playing against 2nd-3rd string. His o-line was 2-3rd string. But hey, if Manziel farts, you'll hear about ti for the next week on ESPN. As I type this right now, there is a Manziel interview on ESPN about how he used RG3 as a role-model. What has RG3 done during his professional career so far? Oh yea, sit on the bench injured...

It's hard to tell you are a Louisville fan!

I think TB will be a solid QB, and I really hope the Griefs can manage to draft Parker next year.
Haha, I do indeed "Lurve Teddy" just as some people like Kaeper-bro and Dalton (no idea how, but some people have a thing for gingers) on here.

I was talking about trading Cassel man.

I realize it is only preseason, but holy shit have the 49ers looked terrible so far.

Dial and Carradine look like beasts. Other than that, Gabbert is one of the worst quarterbacks I've ever seen in the NFL. He's like a tier below Tim Tebow and he's gonna get a receiver killed with these throws.

The concerning part to me is all of this discussion around the depth of the 49ers, yet that isn't really translating yet. Knowing that they will be without Bowman for roughly half the season, and likely without Aldon Smith for 6ish games, it doesn't provide a lot of confidence in the 49ers defense right now.

I'm really trying to not read into it too much, you know preseason and all, but they have looked pretty shitty on both sides of the ball.

Have we not discussed Zach Mettenberger taking the Titans to the playoffs this year?

What the fuck are the 49ers doing out there? Second half is worse than the first!

"They have this new feature for our new stadium." as the camera looks across the area before returning back to the field. Another poor play by the 49ers. Camera pans away, "And over here we have brand new toilets!"
