It's a pretty nice looking yard. Was there any reason why Oakland didn't sign on for a NYG/NYJ style arrangement? Instead they're likely going to play another season in that baseball dump and probably leave the city entirely.

I look forward to the Raiders moving to SA, the only thing Texans love more than Jesus is football and as a former resident of the city for 8 years I promise you that city would love an NFL team, even if that team is the Raiders. As a Cowboy fan I would love it as well hoping that the once every 4 year meeting will be in SA so I can watch the game without having to travel 8hrs to get to, same way with when they play in Houston. The only down side is I will be a 3 team faggot like Sutekh, though I only consider myself to be a Cowboy fan, I just cheer for the Texans and hope they do well and dream of a all Texas SB one day.

Does anyone remember a QB playing at this high a level as Payton Manning at this age? What is he? 37? 38?

I know Elway won a couple Super Bowls late, but that was Terrel Davis being a machine, and running backs really being a focal point of the NFL back then.

Smith looked like shit, I thought. He's great at the first look 3 yard pass, but anything else is a stretch.

The concerning part to me is all of this discussion around the depth of the 49ers, yet that isn't really translating yet. Knowing that they will be without Bowman for roughly half the season, and likely without Aldon Smith for 6ish games, it doesn't provide a lot of confidence in the 49ers defense right now.

I'm really trying to not read into it too much, you know preseason and all, but they have looked pretty shitty on both sides of the ball.
On the defensive side, Borland definitely has some major potential. He just has to get smarter about reading the QB and I think he'll be really solid. As Disp mentioned, Dial and Carradine look pretty beastly. Our secondary, however, is absolutely awful. Culliver is still garbage and Cook is probably even worse. Hopefully Willis stays healthy, because until Bowman gets back, teams are going to carve up the middle of the field.

On the offensive side, Greg Roman gonna Greg Roman. He's still a horrible playcaller. I'm really liking what I see from Carlos Hyde and I expect him to take a lot of carries from Gore as the season wears on.

Lol the shit from 49ers boards is hilarious.

Damn, this stadium is cursed.
On the plus side, the stadium is pretty loud. You can REALLY hear those boos.
Gabbert- horrible Johnson-see Gabbert Bethel-Thompson-see Gabbert and Johnson.
I've not yet been able to watch the game, but the fact that Tim Tebow is being discussed makes me think I don't want to!
Chip Kelly says he's willing to listen to trade offers for Sanchez. I can't believe I'm saying this but let's f***ing do it.
Better pray hard that Kaeperbro stays on the field

Such a meaningless statement. Every team in the NFL is jolly well fucked if their starting QB gets seriously hurt. Well, except the Bears..
Not even close. Most other teams still have a chance, the 49ers might as well just put all their RBs out there and run the wishbone or some student body right shit.

I was at the Cin/NYJ game last Saturday. What I took away from it is:

Bengals offense is looking sharp and efficient
Jets would be a playoff contender if they were allowed to play with their first team vs opponents second team each week

The only comment you can make about a preseason game that is dumber than saying the OC sucks is this one: "Kaepernick was so horrible he got benched after 2 series!!!!".

Do you think maybe Harbaugh is judging Kap for his tattoos and benched him!?
