You're right. Sea is probably overrated due to the SB blowout that people always read too much into. I could see either team being disappointing this season

JFF is going to die on the field. Dude needs to grow a brain, and fast.

He screams bust all over him... You would expect a slight improvement on week 2 over week 1. But it seems he took 5 steps back and was making not just rookie mistakes, but mistakes you make in your first year of college ball. He lacks poise, the ability to read a defense, he is terrible at viewing the field (and open wide open players), and has no self-control.

I cannot wait for another year that Skip Bayless and Stephen Smith are completely and utterely wrong about their QB predictions. This is a Luck vs. RG3 all over again (they said RG3 was by far the better of the QBs), but much worse. Manziel belongs as the waterboy, nothing more.

RG3 is a better athlete than Luck. It's not even close. He's got a better arm and football instincts. But he can't read an NFL defense to save his life and his decision making process is shit. He's basically an upgraded version of Vick, although with better life decisions.

JFF on the other hand has very little positives.

Luck will still be a starting QB in 3 years, RG3-13 won't.

That's a pretty dumb statement. RG3 may not be a world beater, but there are plenty of shitty QB's that still start for NFL teams. RG3 is still probably an average to above average QB depending on the day.

That is, unless you're saying he'll be out of the league because of injuries. In that case you're probably right.

How does he have better instincts if he cant read a defense? He makes the wrong decisions amazingly?

Care to make a bet about rather he is a starting QB in the league in 3 years?

Luck is actually a pretty amazing athlete and his top end speed isn't that far off of RG3, guess cause he's white he automatically gets thought of as less of an athlete but I don't think it's so cut and dry.

If I were a GM of a team, any team, right now and I was offered a straight up QB swap to get Luck I would have a hard time turning down that deal.

I wish I had the willpower to look up all of Elurin's posts about Rg3 vs Luck back in the day and just how wrong he was/is.

I'm unsure where you've found their "top end speed" but their 40 times are:

Luck 4.67
RGIII 4.41

RGIII wasn't the best comparison. Russell Wilson and Cam Newton both have 4.5+ 40s.

Aaron Rodgers had a 4.71, and he's actually who Luck reminds me of most.

Luck may not have the most impressive 40 but his on-field speed seems excellent for his size
