All it took were the refs fucking Titans left and right and losing their starting QB to squeek a 1 point win away from a bottom 25 team. Huge win by Cleveland. Real statement.
The quarterback thing was cheap, I'll admit. But the last 3 calls against Titan were all legit.

I'm more talking about the mystery illegal contact to wipe away the pick. Then the refs throwing 15 yarders for basically nothing versus the Titans after the fight.

Jimmie Ward has not lived up to the 1st round pick so far. Maybe my expectations were too high due to how well Reid turned out. But man that kid looks lost out there so far this season.

I really think that nickel corner is a horrible spot for him to play. He's better served as a safety, despite his size not being that well suited for it.

They just showed a graphic about this being the second hottest SF home game since '91. I don't think that's really a fair comparison. Santa Clara or Hunter's Point. Hmmm.

For those who missed it:

Jake Locker receives dirty hit after scoring against Browns | Shutdown Corner - Yahoo Sports

That's the first hit on Locker in the end zone. I agree, it was an ugly play and cheap. I give credit to Tennessee for wanting to "protect" their QB in the fight but they should have held back because they kept at it longer which is why they (and not the Browns) got hit with the penalties.

Also keep in mind it was just a few plays later when Locker took another hit which upset an already hurt hand to take him out of the game.

I'll admit, the plays were ugly.
