I dont think its exactly a fucking mystery why Peytons stats are other wordly.

Brady's top 5 receivers:

Moss
Welker
Deion Branch
Troy Brown

No QB in the history of the sport has done more with less. There is no GOAT conversation, he's the GOAT
No shit it isn't a mystery, Manning's the best QB to ever play in the NFL. That list is irrelevant. Sorry Brady doesn't even break the top 10.

There are a SHITLOAT of great QBs that never had a HOF WR to rely on. Marino, Elway, Tarkenton, etc.

I still stand by my opinion that no one ever did more with less than Dan Marino. He had fuck-all for talent around him other than his first few years in the league with Clayton/Duper. Never had even a good running back, had shit for TEs(Keith Jackson was ok for a couple years, but his best years were in Philly before he got to Miami), mostly shit for WRs(best WR Marino probably had over his final decade in the league was an over-the-hill Irving Fryar who was already 31 years old by the time he got to Miami. Marino would have killed for a few seasons with someone like Randy Moss or Wes Welker.

Sheeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeet Wakandan, my OJ McDuffie jersey is still a goto sometimes on gameday.

OJ MCSCRUBBY WAS AWESOME.

No really though, Brady's not even in the top 5 of current QBs, anyone outside of Boston would never even consider him in the top 10 of all-time QBs

1. Manning
2. Rodgers
3. Rios
4. Brees
5. Manning #2
6. Brady

For shits and giggles, lets look at all of the WR and TE that Miami drafted during Marino's 17 year career. Stop me when I list someone good...

1985 8 223 Dan Sharp TE 1987
1985 6 145 George Shorthose WR
1986 4 107 James Pruitt WR
1987 8 210 Joel Williams TE
1987 2 56 Scott Schwedes WR
1988 12 320 Brian Kinchen TE
1988 3 73 Ferrell Edmunds TE
1989 10 259 Deval Glover WR
1990 8 205 Thomas Woods WR
1991 9 246 Scott Miller WR
1991 1 23 Randal Hill WR

1992 11 294 Lee Miles WR
1992 7 191 Dave Moore TE
1993 1 25 O.J. McDuffie WR
1995 7 246 Shannon Myers WR
1995 4 122 Pete Mitchell TE
1996 7 251 Brice Hunter WR
1997 6 177 Ed Perry TE

How Marino ever got to 400TDs throwing to the likes of those guys is a modern day miracle

Don't you dare forget Larry Shannon. Drafted in the 3rd round, didn't see a single snap.

Favre had Sharpe for a year or two before the superbowl season. Risen and Don Bebe for the SB win year. Keith Jackson for a few at TE. He did have Driver and Nelson at the end. Of that group, I think only Nelson might ever make HoF and that will be for his time with Rodgers. Percy Harvin ceased to do shit after he left the Vikes. He did not have a lot of talent around him, especially after the first SB win. Brady has had decent talent around him, just not the ridiculous levels that Manning (whom I believe is really the second best QB of all time behind Montana) or Steve Young had. I do agree that Marino and Elway had the shittiest supporting casts of any HoF QBs, but one thing they did have that all of these other big names lacked was a solid running game. I think that is the key to a lot of these larger numbers (aside from the collective longevity); being forced to throw more often than not. The one year Favre had a good RB (AP when he was with the Vikes), AP got pouty and took a powder most of that season, culminating in four fumbles against the Saints in the NFC championship. Even then, Elway did not get his ring until he had a solid RB backing him up, but he piled up a shit ton of other impressive stats before that came about.

On the topic of bad announcing. At the end of the Bengals game, there is like 10 seconds on the clock and Dalton snaps the ball and goes down in the center of the field to give Nugent a dead-on center kick. Pretty standard stuff.

Everyone could clearly see what was going on, except the announcer who goes, "AND THE BALL COMES LOOSE! Dalton fumbled the ball!" Awkward silence, while his announcing partner probably stared at him shaking his head.

uhhh... yeah...

Dude, what? What about Antonio Freeman, Robert Brooks, Mark Chmura, Dorsey Levens, and Ahman Green? Favre has played with more great receivers and running backs than probably any quarterback to ever play the game. Sure, none of them are HoF material, but in their day they were all top 5 players at their position, even if it was only for a couple years like Levens.

Also cool to look at the ranking of DEs so far this year to see just how much better JJ Watt is than everyone else.
