Rumblings going around that RG3 will be benched. Fuck I hope so. I said it yesterday, but I'm not watching the Redskins again until he's done. In 3 years he still hasn't figured out how to play QB in the NFL.
That makes me fill a LITTLE better regarding the Vikings talk of benching Matt Kalil (2012 NFL draft; RG3 #2, Kalil #4) Now that I look at it, besides Luck, what a shit top 5 (Trent Richardson #3, Justin Blackmon #5)

Pretty sure RG3 is a top 10 QB if he goes to any other franchise in the league. Even if he plays for someone else I doubt he gets hurt.
Have you watched any of his games in the last 2 seasons? He's seriously a terrible QB. He's got a cannon for an arm and can throw it 70 yards on the run off balance, but he's missing basic football fundamentals. He can't read a defense, he can't throw a receiver open (as in, the receiver needs to have a step or two on the DB before he'll throw), and he can't move in the pocket. Basically he's a phenomenal athlete but football retarded. Not only that, but he makes the rest of the team worse.

Redskins fans for the last 2 seasons have been saying how awful our offensive line is, and yet, you put Cousins or McCoy in and suddenly the sacks disappear and a pocket forms. It's miraculous!

I feel bad for any team that trades for him.

I have watched him, it's not really a secret as to why he's been struggling, between the injuries and his obvious attitude where he thinks he's got to do everything it's basically a recipe for disaster. You couple that with his lack of actual play time for his first injury and then the sabotaging he got from Shanahan and it's no wonder he's playing like crap.

In the dude's short time in the league he's missed a shit ton of games from one of the most devastating injuries a player can have, has had two different head coaches and two different offensive coordinators and you're already bailing on him after 3 years. Shit the biggest story about him is that him and the locker room cancer they brought over from Phili are arguing.

If the Redskins traded him to like Buffalo, I would not be surprised if he starts doing very well.

If Brady could have thrown that ball FIFTEEN YARDS FURTHER it would have been a TD. Christ dude.
It would have been, gronk got past the secondary. the issue was brady couldn't get set, and then lofted it.
properly thrown it -should- have come down about 15yards farther down the field(gronk was ~5yards past where the ball came down, & provided gronk catches the ball, the most likely result would have been a touchdown.

alas, the rush got to brady, he threw off balance got too much air under the ball and threw it short as a result of "all of the above".

no big deal all qb's do that once in a while. brady had an ok game, not great, not awful. ok- and they won easily. now comes the meat of the schedule

atm it's NE and KC are the head of the class of the AFC...

provided no major injuries occur, then the road to the SB - might- go thru Foxboro.

So what you're saying is the defense was left vulnerable because they blitzed the QB and if the Blitz didn't have an impact a big play would have resulted from it. Wow I never knew that's how that worked, interesting.

Right, but that didnt happen. What Brady should have done is not throw the ball... Or run the ball considering that you need 1 yard, and your 230 lb. running back is averaging six yards per carry.

I'd be more concerned over why Kalil has regressed since his rookie season when he was pretty solid. He looks worse right now than he did at USC, I'd say it's more coaching than anything else.

Maybe he's gay and the coaches have been trying to find a way to get him to the island so they can nuke it?

Remember the ESPn slobber-fest over RG3 being much better than Luck? Here is a nice reminder of the idiots on ESPN. Also remember, being a Heisman winner makes you instantly good. In reality, the Heisman is 90% a popularity contest...

Also... Skip Bayless is an absolute fucking idiot. he has gone like 0/15 in his picks regarding how great the player will be in the NFL. Typically, the people he states as lesser than his personal pick are usually substantially better. This guy needs to just quit, he has no clue about anything football related. Bayless definitely does not have the "it factor" in being able to choose good players.

Is RG3 a Leaf Bust v.2? It sure is going in that direction

Stephen A. Smith and Skip Bayless are basically the FOX News of sports talk. They just spout ridiculous stupid shit because they know people will tune in and watch it, half the people watching agree with them and the other half are just laughing at how stupid they are. It's a proven business model and it's obviously working as you're linking their dipshit opinions on this forum.

Right its contrived controversy, its ESPN's whole thing. Theywantyou to hate Bayliss and get mad at him. It keeps you coming back to see what he will say next so you can get all mad at him again.

But there were plenty of other idiots who are ex football players, analysts on nfl network etc who said the same thing. They all look like retards. Rg3 is terrible, he just threw his team under the bus again after yesterday while being horrible again and somehow badly overthrowing Dasean Jackson multiple times.

Gilg and all the other mouth breathers who were talking for months about his CHARISMA are looking even more wrong, the guy looks like a colossal ass every time he opens his mouth and seems like an awful teammate. I called that shit on here before he was drafted, that his ego seemed way too big and its been nothing but reinforced.

He's played bad under two different coaches now. Based on the media up here, it sounds like it started with his knee injury and spiraled into something far beyond that that's almost entirely mental (I certainly can see the point about coaching helping to get past this though). I hope he can rebound because after year 1 he looked like he was going to be one of those 13 year all pro LTs that don't come around very often. And with it being a mental thing for him, it's the exact type of situation you end up hating as a fan where he can't make it here, but jumps to a better situation and becomes exactly that. I really don't want to see that happen.

It has the exact opposite effect on me. I would watch First Take now and then back when they had the revolving lineup of analysts and pundits sitting opposite of him, depending on who they were. It was more of an actual discussion, even though his input was equally worthless in that format as well.

But him and Screamin' A. Smith together ... no fuckin' way.

You can consider me jaded about any type of on air analysis on ESPN or any of the major networks really. It's mostly just filler bullshit and people saying what other people want to hear them say.

That said, I don't really find it odd at all that RGIII is this massive douche with an ego. First game ever he comes out and destroys the Saints and then continues to play really well until he's hurt. Gets a stupid Subway contract. Is basically the savior of Washington, people counting down the days until he can come back and shit. It's going to be hard for any rookie not to get a big head after that. I think he's a good player and he definitely has the potential to be as good, if not better than Luck, but not in Washington that's for sure.

I don't think he'll ever be the equal of Luck. Sure his injuries have played a major role in his degrading performance since his rookie season, but so has playing enough that opposing coaches now have enough film to figure him out.

Stephen A. Smith seems like he isn't a complete and colossal idiot though in comparison to Bayless. He seems to bring up legitimate points when he speaks and not just spout bullshit ( Bayless basically insinuating he'd suck X athletes dick if he were in the film room). He has had some stupid thing comes out of his mouth like the rant about how black athletes need to stop being stupid and etc (even if he was correct). He ultimately at-least has common sense and better-than-average football knowledge.

He is the Gaige of the NFL thread. Thankfully for all of us Gaige wore out his welcome and was eventually showed the door, and suddenly the NBA thread was readable again.

Azeth is only slightly more tolerable with his cock sucking of Gronk, Tommy boy and the Patriots. I don't think he will go over the edge the way Gaige did, so he probably won't be going anywhere.

All of that said, the Patriots look really, really good right now. Them and the Packers have turned it around and are looking like the class of the AFC and NFC.
That Pack/Pats game in 2 weeks has Super Bowl preview smeared all over it.
