Romo and Roffleberger have better ratings than Brady. Rodgers has thrown the ball less than Kaepernick (lawl). Though Rodgers TD to INT ratio is pretty fucking good. Manning is a tweak off Romo's rating (seriously, wtf ROMO?) but he does more than just throw passes. He's Denver's offensive coordinator. That's why Luck who's having a good but not godly year is on the list. The Colts would very likely be winless without him.
On second thought Rodgers probably does belong on that list, but I think people are on his balls because his BURST DPS from the last two games right now. Brady doesn't. Not yet. If he throws 4k yards, 40+ TD's and less than 10 ints and their RB's aren't carrying them like the last game, then maybe he could be MVP.

Brooks isn't losing snaps to Smith, he's losing them to Aaron Lynch.
Also, I doubt Bowman is coming back this season. With how Willhoite and Borland are playing, I think they are going to cut their losses and be safe about it.
The fans acting like Borland is going to get the start over Willis next year are out of their minds. It's only been 3 games of stellar play and Willis is the absolute leader of that defense. There's no way they use Borland as anything other than an insurance policy for an aging/newly injury prone Willis.

Um actually Brook was the main guy filling in for Smith when he was gone. Lynch took over for Brooks in the packages where both Smith and Brooks would have been on the field had Brooks not pulled himself.
