With Tom at age 38 i hope they pay him til Kraft's bankrupt. There's a tight window to win again. Apparently it's open this year, but who knows about even next season.
I agree, it's been shown time and time again a good TE can make or break the team. Without a good Tight End, what chance does the Patriots even stand in making it to the superbowl?

You happen to catch the AFC championship last year? Or the Superbowl in 2011?

Well damn, now I know why Cutler has been Catlering all season - Martellus Bennett needs to step his game up to at least Michael Jordan baseball levels!

On a serious note I do think its crap that the MVP is so biased towards QBs that even Catler has better odds than most players.

Cutler 20:1 really is embarrassing. Consider also he has better/even odds than:

Russell Wilson 20/1
Nick Foles 25/1
Robert Griffin III 25/1
Cam Newton 33/1
Matthew Stafford 33/1
Matt Ryan 40/1
Philip Rivers 40/1
Tony Romo 40/1
Ben Roethlisberger 50/1

Also lol @ RGIII ranked anywhere. And Manziel is 75:1, Hoyer isn't even on the list

Well fuck that would be a smart move so he can play for a good QB for once.
Imagine if he had Brady all along.... He'd be the michael Jordan of

Jesus, what kind of retardation do you have to do to come up with those odds?

Or is this one of those weird betting things I don't understand where they're trying to get action and that means there's some idiot out there who's putting money on these people to win MVP?

That is the real issue. There is no way in todays NFL to argue that even the best player at any other position is as important to their team winning and losing as ANY quarterback in the league. An NFL QB is basically the equivalent of if MLB teams had 1 starting pitcher that pitched every game start to finish. Of course that guy is your most valuable player, he single-handedly has more influence over your teams performance than about any other 5 people combined.

What they need to do is just create a QB-specific award for the top QB, and then an MVP award for everyone else. It isn't really fair to compare their position to any other on the field.

Last night LeGarrette Blount was upset he didn't get any carries so he left the game early.

Today

LeGarrette Blount released by Pittsburgh Steelers - ESPN

Apparently Blount was kind of a shitbird in the locker room as well. Of course now the Steelers need to add a RB because Dri Archer is kind of worthless...
All kinds of sandy vaginas this weekend. Blount leaving the field early, Marshawn Lynch refusing to go to the locker room during half-time, Ahmad Brooks pulling himself out of the game because he was losing snaps to the obviously better Aldon Smith... bunch of macho NFL players acting like teenage girls.

I can't get over how Hoyer isn't on the list.... takes his team to maybe their first division win in 20+ years, but not an MVP candidate.

Oh Kaepernick though? yea 18:1
