But he runs as a last resort and never by design. In Rodger's case its the short passing game acting as a running game.

Dallas legit looked like the best team in football a month ago, albeit with a suspect defense I don't think anyone fully trusted. Can't have the month of December without mediocre Dallas football, I suppose.

They caught a lot of people at the right time. I mean say what you will about the Seahawks, but their Offense has been pathetic all year plus they were calling their DBs for PI during the first half of the season and that was the one quality win they had. Now, like every other December, Dallas is running out of gas, but this time with a washed up Romo. If Murray gets even slightly banged up they will turn into a shitshow immediately. I will admit I was taking them more seriously than Detroit, but both teams need to end the distractions they both have to solve their late season issues.

Have you not been watching the Cowboys this year? They'd be fine with any decent backup running for Murray. The production might be a bit lower but it's the OLine doing the heavy lifting.

They don't have a backup who finds holes and sheds blocks like him. He is arguably the best RB in the league right now. I think there would be a lot of falloff. If Romo's back weren't messed up, I bet he would have even more ridiculous production, like AP in his prime numbers.

If you want to see why murray is so successful just watch the guards for the cowboys runblock, ive seen 5 pancakes so far and that was just the last drive. A bunch of these bears on defense don't look like they even want to be there.

This is the most focused the Bear D has been in a long time. Probably helps when you can just run Goal Line D all game.
