Hate when teams play soft D with a big lead. Game was closer than it needed to be. Of course, not coming down with that one onside kick didn't help.

Oh well, I'll take a winning record.

LOL. Do you even understand how football and the playoffs work? Your last few posts make it seem like you do not. An NFC South team "sneaking" in over the Cowboys? The fuck?

PS. Fuck you for making a post so stupid I have to defend the goddamn Cowgirls.
You realize all the NFC South teams are 2 or more games under .500, but 1 of them is guaranteed a playoff spot, right?

Cowboys going to the super bowl and you haters can get ready to listen to a full off season how Romo is an elite qb as he rides Murray to the big game!

REALLY!?! IS THAT HOW IT WORKS!?! HOLY SHIT! I HAD NO IDEA!

Here is some more context, since you're too retarded to comprehend why I don't think he understands the NFL playoff structure..

This is a team that had to work hard to beat the pitiful Giants. They are likely going to end the season 10-6 and not in the playoffs, watching one of the shitty teams in the NFCS sneak in with a losing recordinstead.
How the fuck is an NFC South team going to sneak ininsteadof the Cowboys? An NFC South team is already going to the playoffs whether the Cowboys finish 9-7, 10-6, 11-5, 12-4, or even if they had gone 0-16. So, his post infers that an NFC South team will win a wild card, or he's somehow under the delusion that the Cowboys can win the NFC South.

They could win the NFC South...if they were in that division but then again so could 22 other teams in the NFL LOL.

Personally I think there should be a rule for shit like the NFC south this year, if the winning team of any division fails to reach at least 8-8 the wild card team with the best record takes their spot in the playoffs and the wild card is adjusted after that. I don't think that's asking too much and it wouldn't come into play that often and protects the playoffs from teams with shit records.

I'm not sure what the NFL is more fully invested in other than the division centered structure we have now. This year's NFCS is surely an outlier, there's no way the owners will make any permanent changes that put the divisional crown's value at risk. If anything, be ready for more 8-8 and worse teams to be in the playoffs like in hockey and other sports. Some of the owners have hard-ons for expanding the playoffs just like going to 18 games. More teams = shittier teams.

Aren't they expanding the playoffs next year, like it's a given and already approved? The 1 seed gets the first round by, the other 3 division winners host wild card games.

There was no owner outrage when the 11-5 defending champion Saints had to travel to the 7-9 Seahawks and lost. I doubt there will be a bunch of pissed off owners after the first round of this playoffs either.

I'm pretty sure the "losing division winner" was a talked about scenario when the owners decided to realign the league the way it is now. They need to take a cue from the NBA and make sure the team with the better record has the home field but that's been talked about since SD won the AFC West with an 8-8 record a few years back.

The fuck there wasn't. Everyone in the NFL was talking about how that was unfair and how the Seahawks should have had to travel to NO instead of playing at home.

They are not changing the division winner gets in the playoffs and hosts. It is all about the money. They want a guaranteed home playoff game.
