Yeah can't blame him for saying no.
I have mixed feelings about this. He'd get paid more than most people make in a year for playing football oneday.

I realize most people don't have to fight off angry gorillas during their workday, however.

top 3 nfc -all with equal chances imo are Seattle, Dallas and Green Bay

seattle has the easiest route to home field advantage imo. win and and either Green Bay OR Detroit loses(and since they are playing Each other...........chances are it will NOT be a tie)
Deep down, the cowboys probably don't want home field advantage this year. If we could get the bye week and still play on the road, our chances would be better.

Anyone having memories of Mippo and how the Heat were playing for the #2 seed because it was better?

Sorry, couldn't help but think of that.

I still remember winning that bet against him when the Mavs beat the Heat. He was special. And by special I mean retarded.

I don't think there's any way you could argue its better to play on the road... that said there is a solid argument that its not worse for the cowboys. Not only have the cowboys been football juggernauts on the road this year, but their home town advantage isn't nearly as big as most teams. The cowboys stadium crowd has to be in general the most passive or non-sided crowd in the nfl.

People who can afford tickets to Jerry's Greatest Building On Earth with adjoining Art Gallery don't give a general fuck about football. They are there to be seen by other fart-smelling self-indulgent assholes.

Bullshit, I make it to a game every year, and this year has been no different. It's not the fans. There's probably something different about their routine that gets them more focused on the road. If Jarret was a good coach, he'd figure out what it is.

Furry is understating it though. Undefeated on the road (with 1 left to play) and .500 at home. Normally, you say a team is pretty good if they can win all their home games and half their road games.

For what its worth, here's some of the cowgirls road games they won:

titans
rams
jags
giants
bears

i give them credit for beating seattle in seattle, though.

I didn't realize the quality of teams was that far apart. Teams we've played at home have a 50.8% winning percentage, and teams we've played on the road have a 40%. Even so, that's not enough to explain the difference.

given the sample size, i think it perfectly explains the difference. Now play 100 road games and if there's still a noticeable non-parity, then it's unexplainable.

and by unexplainable i mean there'll be no tangible reason for why the cowboys kill people on the road, and win HALF of their home games.

That's not how football works. 100 road games would be over 13 seasons.
