Yep.

I remember having the thought a few years ago about how slanted this board is towards the Cowboys and the Patriots. But I got over it. Texas is a big state, the Cowboys have been a major brand-name for most our lives (assuming we are mostly thirty-somethings at this stage of the game), and we just plain have a lot of Cowboys fans here. Then when you factor in the sickening state of Boston sports in the last decade or so, the recent horde of Bostonian 'Johnny-come-latelys' is also no surprise.

I have a ton more respect for the perennial die-hards of the Dolphins, Steelers, Bengals, Chargers, and Chiefs (and similar teams) than I do for the Cheatriots. Hell, even the 49ers fans, even though they are all evil bad people from birth, aren't as bad as the Patriots fans.

As much as I hate the Cowboys flashy style and all they represent, I don't hate their fans on this board or think the board has an inherent slant towards them. Ham used to represent the Texans quite proudly, but he disappeared off the face of the Earth so all we are left with is Dallas people who talk about Tony Romo too much. I'll take that over being proud of cheating any day.

Yeah, I've never seen the point of getting upset about fans of teams. I can hate a team just fine, and not have to be negative toward their fanbase, unless they are just overly obnoxious. Chiefs fans included.

Because it's fun? And they're the fucking worst? Plus it's good for them. Notice when they talk Cowboys bullshit now they're actually kind of realistic? We no longer get the over the top homer fuckskullery about how they should be in the Super Bowl every year and how their 4th stringers are Hall of Famers and shit? We're making the world a better place, through mockery and hatred.

As always, when it comes to sports folks should embrace the hatred. Just do it in a healthy and entertaining way.

Pretty excited about this 4th rounder out of South Carolina, Bruce Ellington. He's already listed ahead of Lamichael James on KR/PR and has a ton of potential as a receiver for the future.

Ellington looks like a solid football player but nothing special or crazy good that would make me excited. Can't wait to see what Cutler does this season. Maybe Araysar will convince me after this season to not hate Cutler.
