It is the owner's job to hold Goodell accountable, correct? He really should be hit with at least a fine/suspension if not removed from his position entirely. For all of Goodell's talk, that he JUST said when handing down Isray's punishment, about holding coaches/management at a higher accountability, certainly he deserves some punishment for how badly he has botched this whole ordeal. The, "to my knowledge no one at the nfl saw the tape" excuse just does not fly. Roger didn't allow it to fly when Sean Payton told Greg Williams to put an end to his shit, but Greg Williams kept on doing it behind his back. How is this any different? Goodell has failed the owner's and irreversibly tarnished the league's image. The rest of the country is catching up to what NOLA learned years ago, Roger Goodell is a big fat liar.
