An indefinite suspension is something that 9/10 times will be overturned at some point. If they weren't going to do it they would just simply say he's banned for life. There's no doubt his suspension will be removed at some time.

I doubt it gets removed, the event is much bigger then them now, and Rice really isn't that important in the grand scheme of things.

Goodell will resign by Saturday. Certified. Put a stamp on it.
Saturday? I was wondering if he will last more than 24 more hours. And yes, it will be an apology statement and "resignation", not outright "we fired him".

I cant believe NFL Commissioner makes 45 million dollars a year. Like what the fuck does he even do on a typical day?

I feel like if this goes down it'll be like breaking down the Berlin wall - dividing us from glory for so many years. I think. Is that how they felt?

Apparently Goodell was supposed to be in Charlotte tonight to attend an award banquet honoring Panther's owner Jerry Richardson. He canceled his trip. Either the level of damage control the League is rolling out can't be orchestrated from a smart phone or Jerry doesn't want him there distracting from his moment in the sun.

Goodell during the Saints bountygate scandal 2 years ago: "ignorance is not a suitable defense."

Not to mention the sheer time and resources they devoted to ferreting out every little detail of that whole affair.

Compare that to the apparent inability to gain access to a video that's sitting around in your own corporate headquarters.

Also apparentlyBon Jovi did not buy the Bills.

Which unfortunately dispels the theory that Belichick would follow his rock hero...

It will, you see Vick on a team; don't you?
Well, as was said when I made the same argument, Rice's performance last season was pretty awful and he's getting old for a running back, whereas any moron can be a quarterback in the NFL, just look at San Francisco.

My over/under is Monday. Something about this story screams a big event for the Sunday pregame broadcasts to go off about.

Even James Harrison called out Goodell on twitter. You know, James Harrison, a guy who beat a woman.
Harrison might have an ulterior motive.

Men's Journal Article[edit]
On July 13, 2011, a controversial magazine article titled "James Harrison: Confessions of an NFL Hitman" was published by Paul Solotaroff in Men's Journal.[45] In the article, Harrison was asked multiple questions about who he is and why he plays the game of football the way he does. The controversy comes into play when James Harrison begins talking about the NFL commissioner Roger Goodell. Harrison called Goodell a "crook and a puppet", and then proceeded to say that "I hate him and will never respect him.?
