I guess you figure they still play the Raiders twice and also Miami, so that's like 3K yards right there.

Damn, I hadn't realized Farve played that long. Crazy that Manning will potentially be able to pass him (assuming he plays another season) with that many fewer seasons.

If he wins the Super Bowl this year, does anyone think he comes back for another season just to break that record, or will he be done?

I think he will come back to defend it and announce it is his last season no matter what. Basically a goodbye tour.

Offensive stats from a decade ago (2004) compared to the 2014 numbers.

Total Yards= 327.2 vs 353.8
Points Scored= 21.5 vs 23.1
Passing Yards= 210.5 vs 241.5
Rushing Yards= 116.6 vs 112.3

Basically teams are getting one extra field goal drive a game under the new rules. Manning is probably good for 3-3.5k more yards this season if he stays healthy.

I think he will get both of his legs broken playing the mighty San Diego Super Chargers and we will thankfully be done with him.
