Great move by the Vikings. Finally fixing their QB problem.

Texans still have Carr if they want him...

Considering they wasted their first pick, I dunno if I'd say its a steal.
It is a steal. He is superior to Manziel, and right now, more NFL ready than Bortles. Bortles however has a large ceiling, I see him going places with a year or two in the NFL. Sucks it'll be with Jacksonville though

This Manziel interview is hilarious... You can tell he does NOT want to be in Cleveland

"I have not been to Cleveland very often.."

Browns fan checking in for my yearly post in the NFL thread. I was praying for Watkins/Bridgewater and am a bit disappointed it didn't happen. That being said, the two biggest needs were CB/QB. If you had told me the night would end with a CB/QB and an additional 1st round pick next year I'd take it all day. I'm good with Manziel because at minimum it will be an entertaining shit show and as a fan of all things Cleveland I'm equipped to handle the inevitable crushing disappointment.

So Louisville had more players taken in the first round than Alabama, Florida State, Auburn, Notre Dame, USC, Ohio State, Texas...

HILARIOUS considering we had a "weak" conference even though the Big East and AAC beat the fuck out of "superior conference" teams 2 years in a row such as Miami, Florida, Baylor.

Another shit pick for Dallas. Not surprised on that at all
Couldn't disagree more, a killer offensive line to protect your aging QB and a veteran line filled with 1st round picks that have the possibility of having 3 pro-bowl players to line your new QB behind is not only good for present but will pay dividends in the future as well. They need to stock the D-line now on day 2, sure up the trenches.

Yea, we did that as WVU for awhile too. Being in a real conference is kind of important, you'll find that out the hard way. Getting up for 1-2 games a year is a whole different story when you have to play week in and out against teams who can recruit.

That said, not a fan of the Steelers pick. Colbert just needs to go. Let Woodley go just to waste a pick on the same position when we didnt need to. Not saying Shazier is a bad pick, just the philosophy of letting a pro bowler go and then wasting the same pick is like spinning your tires to me. Hopefully day 2 will be something to the tune of ALL defense because we have too many holes on that side of the ball.

We have a killer offensive line already...... That's something they fixed when Romo was taken out for a year by the Giants.

Romo had all day to pass last year.

Went nuts after the Bridgewater pick. I would have been happy had they just taken him at 8.
