I thought he was a pretty good back here. He was really a workhorse that you could give the ball to nearly every down and it really fit into the LSU plan of wear down a defense and finally score some in the 4th quarter.
They basically traded back 1 pick to pick up a 4th next year. Was a badass series of events, and Hyde sounds like he's solid.

I really thought Landry was a better pick at #2 from LSU behind ODB jr and ahead of Mettenberger and Hill.
Really didn't mean your team. I just meant overall if I had to pick who was a better overall pick from LSU I would have put Landry second. Hill has baggage and so does Mett with his past, his injury, now a bad back, and his deal with his drug test.
I hate this pick. Unless he turns out to be Sproles 2.0, the Steelers are picking like they just won the SB and taking this kid is a luxury pick when half the team has one foot in the retirement home. What the fuck is the aversion to drafting CBs in Pittsburgh......ugh
