I just looked at his college stats. Still not hating him even though I realize he was surrounded by talent. But wouldn't the same be true in the NFL?

Boston just has the world's biggest yet most understandable case of little brother syndrome...and they express it through their sports teams. I mean, imagine yourself forever in the shadow of New York when it comes to media markets, national and global relevance, etc.

It's definitely a city full of people that seem to have chips on their shoulders.

^^ This is pretty much it. It's funny as Boston actually gets plenty of exposure for a pretty small city.

Also: I bet someone takes Michael Sam in the 7th. It'd be good press even if they don't think he will make the team. Also will stop idiots from complaining he went undrafted because of being gay.

Would be pretty funny if the guy had a Visa Commercial but went un-drafted however.

This is not remotely true. Belichek is a great coach and they have a HOF QB, but they haven't drafted particularly well despite amassing tons of picks.
