As a Rams fan, I'll be interested to see how he does. If locker rooms are even remotely like the Dolphins locker room, then it may be tough on him to focus on football. I hope he can, and that the Rams players accept him so he can be a valuable late draft pick. Our defense is going to be pretty dirty this year.

In all seriousness I hope the guy does well. Like, legitimately does good. I can already hear some pundit going all Limbaugh/McNabb about him though. It'd be nice to see him squash that shit with his performance on the field.

The expectations for him are going to be unrealistic. He is a 7th rounder, making the team will be an accomplishment.

If anything coming out as gay hurt his draft prospects more than anything. The dude had good stats in college and did better than some other media sensation that was drafted in the second round last year.
