He's not going anywhere unless we can invoke a contract clause about behavior or something. Waaaayyyyy too much dead money to cut him right now. Next year at the earliest. Otherwise he might be in danger due to on-field performing, though the dismal O line doesn't help.

I'm also leaning towards Rice's career being in danger. What if he takes a plea bargain - does Goodell let him come back and play with a domestic violence conviction during pink ribbon month? RB also might be the worst position to be an idiot in these days, the money is drying up and the players are likely considered a dime a dozen by GMs. By the time he gets back on the field the Ravens will have a very cheap 1000 yard rusher from the 3rd round of the draft like most teams are gunning for these days.

Probably more like 4th or even 5th rounder, and even then we would need a third body at RB but that can probably be had in FA. If Blount continues to be unsigned he could be a nice cheap option.
If we have a behavior clause on him and could avoid some dead money I'd be all for dropping him, like you said his position is more and more expendable and there's serious questions about his loss of the explosiveness that made him so dangerous. Goodell would suspend him I'm sure. As it stands the front office is doing all their best PR double-speak in support of him because they know they are likely stuck with his number for the year, which was the case even before all this shit.
He certainly won't be playing here for six more years, maybe two at best.

C'mon Chiefs, sign Jackson. Maybe this is why the chiefs have done jack shit in free agency so far, Reid had inside info that this was coming...I can hope at least. Would be the perfect compliment to Dwayne Bowe. We'd have our speed/deep threat to go with Bowe's possession/size skills.
