I agree. I always fast forward through kickoffs since they are in the middle of 2 commercial blocks and it's very rare that something interesting happens during one.
Not watching live...what's the point? If I see my fantasy points update before it happens on my screen I feel like I've failed as a football fan.

It's the same fucking game dude. If you don't know it already happened, it didn't already happen.

They got rid of the wedge formation first. Then decided that wasn't enough so they also moved the kickoffs up. So the kickoffs now don't even remotely resemble what they did a decade ago.

Football averages an absurd number of rule changes per year. You can take any given play 20 years apart in any era and the rules governing them will usually be significantly different.

It used to be that all kickoffs were onside. It was pretty cool except for the massive amount of death and grievous injury.

More naive than a dork. I still think my idea of randomizing positions would increase interest roughly 4000%

I'm stoked Dallas brought back Monte Kiffin. I don't have to worry about making the playoffs next year.

In all fairness, they didn't have the people to run Kiffin's D.
That makes it worse. They didn't have the personnel last year and they won't this year either. So why the hell are they sticking with it? Because Jerry Jones, that's why.
