As far as the Raiders moving to SA thing. Jerry Jones said today its something like 98-99% Cowboys fans there, which is probably true. I don't think there is a chance in frozen hell he would allow another NFL team to come into a big market that is nothing but Cowboys fans.

I don't think that would work out well for the Raiders. I could see a lot of them not dropping their lifetime Cowboy loyalty for a team that will probably move again at some point

They'd have to have a name change for it to work in San Antonio. (I didn't read the article, so not sure what all was discussed in it.) The majority of Texas would stay Cowboys fans, but if you rebranded the team as the San Antonio Coyotes or something, I think you could definitely convert some of those southern Texas fans a lot easier than it was for the Houston Texans to win people over that were either still rooting for the Oilers as the Titans or were always Cowboys fans.
Even if they were still Cowboys fans, it's not like it would be hard to sell out the stadium to a football game in Texas. Living in Austin, I'd rather drive down to San Antonio than over to Houston or up to Dallas. I don't see them letting the Raiders change their name, though...and the San Antonio Raiders just sounds stupid and really doesn't fit in with the culture or community there.

Lol

The Raiders would never ever ever rebrand idc where they moved. Al Davis' corpse would arise and go on a killing spree.

They're not going to change the name of the Raiders. It's too valuable of a brand even though the team has been shitting on it for years by being horrible. They still sell lots of apparel to wannabe gang bangers around the country.

Cowboys 2nd round pick DE out for 8-12 weeks with ankle injury. Glad to see them in midseason form already

I was excited by the "loses his job forever". I was very disappointed by the "suspended for a week" in the article.

I really dislike him, my only hope is his wife provokes his dumb ass and he gets his seconds strike.

It seems like we're undergoing a 90's era type PC renaissance. I actually 100% agree with what he said. It basically came down to, "Women, don't go provoking men thinking that they won't hit you just because you're a woman."

I guess this doesn't really have anything to do about the NFL. ESPN should probably just avoid talking about social issues I suppose.

But it does give me an excuse to post this video:

And holy shit at that headline about Ray Rice. They're acting like he just beat cancer and not his wife.

To knock some bitch out cold like he did while dragging her around on the floor for awhile isn't exactly the same as an angry backhand to the face. And from the pictures, it doesn't look like she's some 90lb ex cheerleader.

Edit: Also, that Patrick Peterson deal is insane. 5 years 70 million 48 million guaranteed for a fucking corner that isnt on offense or returning kicks now? Richard Sherman's reaction would have been priceless. 48 vs 12 million guaranteed, apparently Sherman is already crying and tweeting shit lol

Aw yiss Geno Atkins back from PUP
Fuck yeah. Hall has been playing everyday too. Still worried about Gresham and Jones not participating yet. It's probably not a big deal, but the offense needs everyone as healthy as possible.

All these other AFC North teams getting in trouble for being asshats. Bengals over here taking shit seriously. Can't wait to go 13-3 and lose to the 9-7 Dolphins in the playoffs.

Word is Eifert made quite a few strides this offseason. It could be smoke and mirrors but I'm anxious to see how his preseason goes.
