Yeah, he actually said it was likely they wouldn't have raised the banner since Tom being in the stadium is not allowed. You're not making Patriots fans look good.
Also, they're probably not talking about it because it's coming from the wife of a Redskins exec. Maybe there's truth there but the source is fully biased.

For anyone who has been watching Hard Knocks and was curious (I guess that even though this information is readily available online, it could be considered spoilers if you enjoy watching people get told they are fired and in some cases, likely done in the NFL):
Kourtnei Brown (Mike Vrabel's favorite punching bag) and EZ Nwachukwu have been cut - no word yet on Charles James II and/or his socks

Damn, EZ probably has the best name in football. I thought he did enough in that last game to get a spot. And I'm glad you spelled the other guy's name. Last night I was scratching my head the entire game wondering why a veteran as old as him was playing the entire final preseason game. I couldn't quite place where I knew him from, but now that I looked it up, I realize I was mashing together 2 players. One was a DB for the cowboys a few years ago, and the other was a DL for the browns back when I first started collecting football cards.

High probability of some dicks getting sucked for stories. Where there is smoke, there is fire.
I'm not surprised on either of them. EZ was pretty up and down and besides his name and being a pretty cool guy he didn't really stand out all that much.
I figured Kourtnei would get cut. He was incredibly inconsistent and he fucked up many more plays than the two big ones he happened to make. One of which he fell on the ball. The guy just couldn't maintain the edge. He was beaten several times for huge gains and TD's over the pre preseason and his attitude kind of sucked at times when he was being criticized. You'd think this dude made the pro bowl or something with the way he looked at Vrabel at times. Shut the fuck up and listen scrub.
I've really enjoyed hard knocks this year. I just want them to put up some of the deliberations of who they are going to cut. That has been the only lacking thing so far.
I really like O'brien and his no nonsense, no bull shit talk. The last guys he cut, that is the first time I've seen a coach on hard knocks say something other than some nice parting words. He more or less told two of them they couldn't cut it as players in the league but in a nice way. I can't help but root for the guy to have success in a fairly shitty franchise. Not coddling Mallet when he went all emo and missed practice was nice as well.
I'm not super shocked, called it. He adds more value as a second QB just for the fact that there are going to be reps by opposing teams in practice to deal with him and the option should he enter the game. The dude can play. He can't play QB, but he can play and I bet we'll see him in a few packages through out the year.
