Is it really any more retarded than claiming someone who pointed out that a person should expect certain things to have consequences on future employment was actually claiming anyone who'd been arrested should never work again?

Yes. He was already suspended and is making much less than what he would have if this never happened. I'm not sure what else anyone is expecting.

Still don't think it's as retarded as making up a position that no one took. Opinions may vary though.

On the Hardy thing, I'm sure he'll make what he's making this year or less for the rest of his career as a result of what happened. Mike Vick can tell him how it's hard to get a decent contract after legal troubles.

Not everyone else in the country is subject to a personal conduct policy the way NFL players are, so this argument really doesn't make sense.
Well, I don't know the details of his contract, but I'll point out he did indeed get fired. He just found a new job now. Even from the NFL's PR standpoint, there are plenty of straight arrow guys available to be the face of the game. Every single rank and file player all the way down the line doesn't have to fit that bill. It's been asked, but you didn't answer. Is it your opinion that he should never be allowed to work again?

Look here you inbred dipshit, clearly reading comprehension isn't your thing. My point was the Cowgirls (Jerry Jones) hired this shithead knowing full well what he had done. That anywhere else under the same circumstances would have canned his ass.
Same question for you.

He was convicted by a Judge, then paid $$$ to the chick to get out of it. I suppose you haven't looked at the photo's to be making this statement, maybe you should.
Nope. I went looking when someone first brought it up here and didn't see them. Got a link?

I didn't agree with either of them being allowed back. Your defending a pos because you want your team to win. No different then than now. I would have hoped the game had grown since then.
That's bullshit. These guys are football players, not heroes. I don't give a fuck what they do off the field unless it actually lands them in jail. Even then, I only care because it means they can't play.

It's not just his contract, all NFL players are subject to the league's personal conduct policy. Some guys might have special language in their contracts about certain activities (most likely can't be playing other sports that could get them injured or things of this nature), but the basic league conduct policy applies to all players.

He didn't get fired. He was on a 1 year deal as a result of the Panthers placing the franchise tag on him, and was suspended for all but the first game of that season. After the year, he became a free agent.

Unless I missed reading something, no one asked me if Hardy should ever be allowed to work again, nor was I really "in" on the Hardy discussion until others brought it up as a tangent to my original response to you, which was informing you that your comparison didn't make sense seeing as how the vast majority of everyone else in the country isn't subject to a personal conduct policy the way NFL players are.

As for my personal response, do you mean play in the NFL again, or work in general? If I owned a team, I wouldn't want him employed by it in any fashion. Even if I did own a team though, there are 31 other owners out there that can make their own decisions, as long as he has fulfilled legal obligations (whether I think it's bullshit how he got off or not) and has served whatever punishment the league's disciplinary people decided on.

Seriously? Several people have taken that position.
Seriously? Shit man it's only a page or two back...

Yes, because horrible things you do in the past in every walk of life NEVER have a long lasting consequence when you apply for jobs in the future??????

Are YOU fucking retarded?
Genj clearly making a sarcastic comment about how bad things a person has done in their past can have lasting consequences when seeking future employment.

Followed by you quoting that very post and responding 3 posts later...

So your position that anyone that gets arrested should never be able to work again?

You're a smart man.
You going full retard claiming Genjiro said/took the position that anyone that gets arrested should never be able to work again.

Hell of a big difference to point out the obvious that certain bad things you do can cause issues when seeking employment later in life versus saying definitively that anyone arrested for anything ever should never, ever get to work again man.

Actually, that was a question. There's a question mark there and everything. It looks like he's implying that already being punished wasn't enough and that Jones never should have signed him. So I'm curious if he thinks that's true for all situations or just for teams he hates.

Yeah, I mean his torpedo of truth didn't net him any money. Neither did his rants - I mean he didn't get another show out of that or anything. CBS was never pressured to put him back on the Two and a Half Men cast. Essentially, you're a fucking retard and you should give up.

I'm sure Mike Vick can tell Hardy he just needs to play at a high level for a year or two and get a $100m contract.

Lolz, gets called out on his claims about nobody caring when it relates to other players, resorts to name calling when they refute his claims. #justcowboysfansthings
Lolz, I could have sworn I was a Patriots fan at the start of the season. Or was it a Saints fan? Figure it out, numb nuts. Jooka's a retarded homer - it's well established. He hides it as well as you troll.

The money payoff was speculation by the DA on why Holder stopped cooperating. Actual evidence to support it probably plopped out of his ass after lunch.

My earlier point still stands, if the evidence was such a slam dunk as people would like to believe, based upon the photos at least, then the DA would have moved forward to the jury trial regardless of the presence of the victim. In fact, it's quite common for exactly that to happen. In this case it didn't.

Don't worry Cowboys fans, I'm sure that Hardy has learned his lesson and will never again engage in any activity that will bring shame and regret in the very near future. (Really, the dude is a fucking time bomb)

Can't we all just agree that Hardy is a fucking piece of shit and move on to talking about how proud the Pats fans are going to be about holding the Redskins to 100 yards total offense?

Raiders game scares me greatly. Plus Steelers seem to always lose to them in recent years, but I'm thinking Ben goes nuts on their D today.
