Maybe Bill and Bob can get some of these worthless refs fired. It has to be a priority with some teams right? The more money the NFL makes, the less accountable and worse the refs get. Makes no sense.

The refs are pushing for full time employment, it is literally in their best interest to suck as the NFL grows.

I think the biggest issue is they want FT so they can get retirement and health benefits. Also aren't some people on the ref crews FT other PT now?

I think that the fact that a former NFL ref who was widely respected got several calls "differently" then the actual game in the Steelers game is enough evidence that the rules need to be shored up. Clear terminology needs to be used and things need to get clearly defined.

P.S. - I'm not salty, that is not why the Steelers lost, they lost because their pass defense sucks moose cock.

Loss or not you have to admire Big Ben in that game. He respected the Seattle D about as much as, well, anyone respects Pitts D. He was his usual gunslinger but not in a dumbass Sex Cannon way.

But lol at that overtime. I said god dammit, I don't want to be up all night for this. And then the Pats defenders all simultaneously trip on their own feet as Anderson breezes through untouched as if he were covered in Hodj. Glorious.

Yeah when you let up 39 points it is hard to really try and call the refs out for a loss unless it is something like the fail mary

I have a theory that Kaepernick just doesn't know what to do with a dogshit team and that magnifies his flaws wheras Gabbert fits in perfect with an off the rails mess because that's all he knows.

Gabbert was on the Jaguars and suffered several injuries I cannot imagine the kid ever got a fair shake. Garbage in Garbage out.

To be fair, two of the turn overs were caused by refs and led to two touchdowns

The pass Defense still sucks and that's why they lost. The final turnover by the Steelers was one of the ones where this guy who used to be an NFL ref is saying "No way this is a catch." and cited several other plays this year. Then the on field Ref comes in and says "Definitely a catch". If the Refs can't even consistently figure out what is and is not a catch then how can you not change the rules to make it clear?

Gabbert was just murdered for his entire rookie contract. Of all the people who never got a real shot in the NFL to develop...Gabbert is in the top 5.
