I don't think the Broncos have much of a chance. Won't be as bad as 2 years ago, but only because Carolina goes into clenched-butt mode after going up a couple of scores. Final score Panthers 30 - Broncos 20, with a 27-6 lead at the half.

Is there any chance peyton doesn't retire after this game? If it will take a win to get him to retire then I want the broncs to win. If it will take a loss then I want them to lose. Basically, I just can't stand to see peypey stand there in the pocket and deteriorate before my eyes.

According to Post reporters Will Hobson and Justin Wm. Moyer, Manning?s legal team hired investigators to ? identify, locate and interrogate Sly? while also sending a lawyer to look at Peyton and Ashley?s medical records at the Guyer Institute, the medical clinic in question. Both Manning?s were patients at the practice, and a Manning spokesman said in December Ashley had an unspecified prescription from the clinic.

The two investigators showed up at Sly?s parents? house on Dec. 22 and 23rd, questioning Sly on their second visit. Deadspin published the 911 call Sly?s younger sister made the night of the two mens? first stop over, in which she says they falsely identified themselves as members of law enforcement. (It is a crime to impersonate a police offer.)

You think Denver is going to score 3 defensive touchdowns? That's pretty optimistic!

Cam Newton is an irresistible force at this point. If the Panthers get down to the goaline thats basically an automatic touchdown with Newton plowing it in. I suspect they will have more than a few redzone opportunities.

Also, Denver is going to struggle on offense IMO. Manning is going to get knocked off of his spot all night. They need the running game to be effective to loosen up the Carolina secondary, and Im not sure that is going to happen. If Manning thows an early pick Carolina is going to get a HUGE confidence boost and snowball into a juggernaut and destroy Denver.

It's Peyton Manning, you think the NFL wants to know anything. He's the most beloved player since Montana.

Xevy new to football, can tell by his hot sport takes.
I miss your signature. Talk about hot takes.

I think the Panthers will win by at least 10, unfortunately. The Panthers have a solid defense, and cam is able to do anything needed. The Broncos have, what I would argue, is a better defense, but Peyton can just throw and not even throw it as well as he needs to. Throw in the fact his receivers have been fucking dropping the easiest first down balls for the last few games, that doesn't bode well.

Payton throws for over 400 as the Broncos win by 26. Patriot fans spend the entire offseason trying to make "Payton is a cheater" a thing, but it never catches on and Manning retires as the greatest QB of all time.

Patriots are completely demoralized next season and don't win more than 5 games. Brady and Belichick then retired as broken, beaten men who fall into a deep depression. Neither are seen again.

Honestly, I hope Cam's not trying to plow through the Denver defense. He's going to meet something he hasn't seen in most of his wins: real defense. He's not overhyped in the slightest, and the man deserves an MVP for at -least- the regular season. But it would be retarded for him to think the Denver D is going to be as maleable as other teams he's been able to literally run through. I really don't want to see a good quarterback get broken and fuck up the rest of his career.

With that said, I think it's 20/17 Carolina.

I'm not saying he is going to carry the load on the ground lol but he is the most effective short yardage runner in the league in goaline situations. He should get the ball if they get in close.

Eh? He played the Seahawks twice, Texans, Bucs twice, Titans, Patriots, and Cardinals. Out of 18 games, that's 8 against top 12 defenses.

It'd be incredibly difficult to find many teams playing a schedule with a significantly higher number of games against good defenses.

Denver is the top #1 defense, however. That's a big difference from just being in the top 12. Not saying he wont just run through them, but I would prefer that he not get retardedly injured trying for 3rd and 2. The teams you listed don't have the greatest history vs. the run. I think he can definitely score on several potential points on the run, but I think the Denver D is a step above what he's used to. I just think it will be a bit bigger factor than most. I still think the Panthers win it, regardless.

I don't think Cam is necessarily going to blow the doors off of the Denver defense, but I just don't think Old Man Manning is ever going to get comfortable. The guy couldn't do a goddamn thing against even the Steelers. Carolina is no slouch on defense and I can see a very likely scenario where PeyPey tosses up 3-4 INTs with one of them for 6.

I think Carolina schlongs them pretty good.

Lol, one of these things is unlike the other -- and I'm a Bucs fan. You probably shouldn't be using defensive ranking by yardage allowed as a gauge for strength of defense. With that said however, its hard to say how much better the Denver defense is compared to the Seahawks or Patriots D.
