you missed the context of my post without Column's with it.

Currently a shitload of people on NFL sidelines have tablets, including quarterbacks. Since every "device" nowadays can perform the same functions as a "cell phone" - how do you police who can & cannot have which device?

So Ben IS allowed to hold his teams ipad with the plays and whatever else on it.... but IS NOT allowed to hold a cell-phone sized device. Even if he's looking at the same content on the cell-sized device as he would be on the ipad, the rule states no "cell phones" so suddenly hes breaking a rule?

Lost Ngata and McPhee this year too. There's some good looking younger guys in the front seven who should come of age but we are sorely lacking in real pass rushers now. Dumervil can only do so much when he's the lone guy that inspires any fear on the edges.

What is the concern? They think people are going to be googling "How do I play football" on the sidelines and get an unfair advantage?

yea i also dont really understand what the problem is. even if someones on their private cellphone.. who gives a fuck.

Depends on how they were set up. Most of us here would probably be fine rooting a device but I doubt that's in abundance within the average employment of an NFL team. They're likely also under lock and key and constantly being guarded when not.
