Its amazing how Watt is unquestionably the best defensive player in the NFL but since he's a DE he can only manage to get a few wins. But there are so many elite QBs who carry bad teams on their backs. Kind of goes to show just how important that position is compared to everything else on the field.
Honestly, if elite QBs could truly be paid what they are worth, your Rogers/Brady/Manning in their primes should make about $50 million a year compared to your elite $20m a year D-lineman or $10m a year WR/RBs.

QBs effect the teams win/loss record at least 3-5x as much as any other single player, even if they are the best at their position in the league. Reggie White wasn't winning any Superbowls until he got onto a team with Brett Favre. Deion Sanders wasn't winning shit until he got out of Atlanta and starting whoring out to San Fran(Steve Young) & Dallas(aikman/Irvin/Emett trifecta)

An elite-level defensive player might mean 1 or 2 more wins per year(which is worth a LOT of money) but they aren't taking a 4-12 team and turning them into 12-4 and winning their division like an elite QB can.

I think the 7-9ish prediction is a fair one, given their schedule and the state of the NFCE. For what its worth, your predictions for this season are looking the most likely. I must have been high when I thought the LOLphins would make a wild card berth.
It just depends, the division games might not go that well to be honest. We always seem to suck against the Giants, Dallas might have Romo/Dez back before we play them the first time even, and we were kind of fortunate to beat Philly last week.

Honestly no one could have predicted the injuries for Dallas, but otherwise I was pretty skeptical of the Eagles hype. Still not sure what the Giants are yet, it might be their season with Dallas injuries...if that is the case, get ready to hear how amazing of a coach Coughlin is again (for what feels like the 800th time).

Falcons are surprising to me, although maybe they aren't quite as good as their record but still a playoff team. Carolina probably in same boat, not as good as their record, but a playoff team in NFC. Bucs are whatevs, and Saints at this point are not a good team and will only go as far as Brees can drag them.

Cardinals (with Palmer) are no surprise, Seattle I expected to be a slightly better. Rams are doing that usual Fisher thing, and the Niners are the dumpster fire we all expected after that offseason.

As far as the North goes, Packers are elite, Vikings have that look of maybe taking a step forward this year. Bears are still not great, but good Cutler can manage a few decent games. Lions should have a better record, but that franchise should have made larger steps with some of the talent they have and just haven't (although given who is coaching them is it really a surprise?).

There were several times when Brown was open enough to throw to. Vick can't read defenses for shit. His check downs go through about a half second per receiver before he panics.
Whelp, still on Vick then! Not that I'm saying Brown is the "hands down best receiver in the NFL", Alex, but he's up there.

Greg, I got the white papers finally. I need both those VM's bumped up. Sorry man. New specs:

32GB RAM
150GB HDD
4 Cores @2.6GHz. Non-Hyper

I also need two more VM's spun up with the same specs. These will be for separation of the client and the platform. WFM has had major issues with their installs lately, and this is one of the solutions.

I could use these by Thursday so I can have the WFM engineer start loading before the next call in. If you can not get to this by Thursday, just say so. I can push back on the vendor, and work on CS and Sales. Brent will be pissed, but I can explain no problem.

Apologies again. I owe you a donut.

JJ Watt agrees I'm sure.

I just don't get why Flacco's team is 1-4.

Or maybe he was covered and Vick doesn't have the skill/confidence/coaching approval etc to get it to him as often/easily as Ben can in sketchy situations. Or isn't able to throw him open or buy time to let him get there. I didn't watch the game, but I'd imagine that's more on Vick than Brown.
He was doubled most of the night. Vick can't make the throws any longer from what I saw.

Wait a minute Famm...were we talking about JJ playing DE for you guys, or taking over under center? 4-1 for sure if under center.

The NFL Will Exploit Your Dead Mom But Not Let You Celebrate Her

More NFL doing bullshit things.

Also, this paragraph is ridiculous:

Teams pursue a similar approach. The Carolina Panthers, Williams?s former team, brought Sandra Hill out before games in past Octobers, making her part of pregame ceremonies. When she died, though, the only person in the organization to attend her funeral was defensive end Greg Hardy.

He wasn't talking about me, retard. The only call i've made on the Patriots record this year was a while back when I said i'd ban bet someone on them being 9-7 or better. Then again, you have a fucking roidhawk avatar so maybe that shit's just starting to rot away your ability to see and comprehend basic things.
