Yeah, you're right. A guy who led the biggest comeback in NFC Championship history to send his team to the SB and who was a goal-line stand away from back to back Super Bowl appearances (against one of the greatest defenses to ever take the field and in one of the most hostile road environments in the NFL) is probably just a shitty QB. It couldn't possible be the lack of talent, coaching, ownership, etc.
It's a lot more than trust, obviously, but for thingsKaepernickcan control? Yeah, that is his largest issue according to former coaches. The o-line play, the coaching, the relative lack of talent, the drama surrounding leadership, etc. are all things outside of his control.

I can see that, trust being a big issue. Brees had the deer in headlights look all last season while trying to get the ball out as quickly as possible clearly affecting his throws because he couldn't trust his line at all. The o-line has had some injuries this year and took time to gel, but with guys coming back from injury and time to gel, Brees has been looking more like Brees these past few weeks. He's even slightly overthrown the fastest guy on the field a couple of times the past two weeks when everyone was questioning his arm strength last season.

Obviously its not all Kaps fault but great players rise above the bullshit and produce. Doesnt seem like he has that ability. He is awesome when the wins pile up and hes kissing his bicep in the endzone.
